BACKSTORY | Reefs entire family were dumped into Malivore when she was 3, and she managed to escape. Spending 13 more years just roaming the sea someone picks her up in a fishing net and captures her. She manages to escape and wanders around for a few days until she enters the Salvatore boarding school. Ric brings her into his office and they try to figure out what she is while she is in another world looking around at all the human items. Someone accidentally spills water on her and she tries to run out but ends up turning into a mermaid before she could escape, and she was asked to join the school where Ric gave her the hope of being able to bring her family back.
