Yeah, he's really wise. Since he choose Goryo who is definitely weak in military right now since most of our armies are in the capital and border.

At kung hindi natuloy ang pagsugod nila sa Ancarte. Maari ngang nilinlang kami at pinalabas lang nilang ang border at kapital ang susugurin nila para magsipunta ang karamihan sa mga sundalo roon at magbantay pero ang totoo ang Goryo ang totoong pakay nila.

"Ilan ang dala niyang hukbo?"

"Kung hindi ako nagkakamali mga isang libo, Tenyente."

Damn, we are just 600 here! And I think only 100 soldiers are in Goryo; we are really outnumbered. Added to that, most of us are new recruits.

"Gaya nang napag-usapan sa oras na simulan nilang sugurin ang Goryo ay kikilos na tayo! Maliwanag ba?"

"Maliwanag, Tenyente!" Nagtago kami sa mga naglalakihang mga damo at gumapang para makalapit.

We are on the front line, and some of those left skilled armies are mixed with us, but mostly they are in our backs for support in the attack.

"Tenyente, isuko niyo na ang Goryo! Wala kayong laban sa amin!"

His soldiers dispersed and gave him his way in the center. He has his hair pulled back into a man bun and his entire face covered in an iron-war mask. Just him in the center, and it screams so much authority and gravitas.

He is General Duncan?

He looked like one of those massive warriors in history. 

I'm dead if he is indeed the kid I saved from the Mazvacarda Mountains! I just saved a kid that turned today into a great general for Musvil, our rival country. 

If someone finds out about this, I will be executed! 

I thought he was just an ordinary, rich kid from Musvil that I could use in the future. I never thought he was a prince, and he's also a general now! 

Is this the moment that I will regret saving him that day?

"Hindi ko isusuko ang Goryo, Duncan! Kahit patayin niyo ako!" matigas na sigaw ng Tenyente ng Goryo. Hindi ko alam ang pangalan niya pero malapit ito kay Heneral Andres dahil ipinagkatiwala sa kanya ang pagbabantay sa Goryo.

"Kung ganoon! Patayin silang lahat!"

We attacked from behind and tried to stop the Musvil Army from entering the gate. Most of us are newly recruited and are now immediately deployed to this life-threatening battle.

We are like ants fighting a bigger enemy since Musvil armies have been trained in battle throughout the years; they are ahead of us in experience.

Umuulan ng mga sibat at pana sa paligid. Ang dating kulay kayumangging lupa ay nahaluan ng dugo.

I use my sword and pour all my heart into killing the Musvil army.

I felt cold and shivered upon trying to fight and seeing my comrades little by little being washed out.

Napahigpit ang hawak ko sa espada ko at pilit lumaban. Ang mukha at armour ko ay natalsikan na rin ng dugo.

Matibay na ang loob ko sa akala ko dahil marami na rin akong napatay pero ngayong mismong nasa gyera ako ay hindi ko akalaing makararamdam ako ng ganitong takot at panginginig.

Maybe because I know I'm not in the upper hand right now and the bloody war shocks me too.

From the sea of soldiers fighting each other. I saw him in the back, comfortably sitting on his horse, and just watching the battle.
