Hikari PoV
the archade was not filled with a lot of people though it was Saturday. I heard a lot of couples come here and is a best spot to hangout. It's afternoon and the sun's bright. I could hear the gaming sounds from the background and my cold coffee turning cold each minute passing by. I sigh upon seeing the empty seat infront of me, which should have been occupied by the guy who's obsessed with football 20 minutes ago. As i was lost in the scenery of trees in the side and the warmth of the sun making me warm, the turning of the chair which made me turn around. Ah. Finally. He came.
He took off his hat which covered his eyes and kept it on the table, and shifted his both eyes attention towards me. again, those same old eyes, which made my heart race and when the wind blew against his hair, his bangs falling on his forehead
Makin him 10 times hotter-
Hikari, HIKARI, what are you even thinking!!??
"Hey Rin,shall we grab some coffee and then start?" I stated without making it awkward
"Yea sure" saying in a monotone voice
okay, why is he making it awkward
Why am I suddenly right now attracted towards Rin? wait. It's just attraction. Teenage hormones. I don't want to fall for the same thing again.
We spent the next half an hour playing the same basketball gaming machine, and after each and every round.
he was the winner. and I begged for once more.
Literally how could he be good at basketball when he's a football player.
"It's so boring" said Rin
"Once more please!" I said as I was breathing heavily placing my hands on my knees.
"No" saying it with his deep voice, and looking for other gaming machines.
The next hour went in the asteroids gaming machine where you sit in the machine and as the name says, kill the asteroids and protect space ship, and that game too.
He won.
3 times
I didn't even win once.
"Did you ever come here before?" I asked
"Nope" still keeping his eyes on the game
"Then how come are you winning every time!?" I whined
"I don't know, maybe natural" still his eyes glued on the game. He kills the last asteroid making my jaw drop, leading him to his 4th win.
He doesn't look surprised at all.
We are now on our way to order snacks, we went in and saw the menu on the top of the wall.
"I'll go ahead with dark chocolate cake" he said
He likes cakes?
"Oh, umm I'll go with vanilla milkshake"
"we would like to have one dark chocolate cake and one vanilla milkshake" i said
We sat near the glass entrance of the gate, him spaced out while eating his dark chocolate cake and I slurping my vanilla milkshake
"You like chocolate cake?"
"Yes" he said coming out of his spaced out state
"You?"
"Huh"
"You like vanilla milkshake?" he asked
"I like anything in milkshake, I only drink milkshake" i said proudly
"You don't drink water and milk?!" he said mockingly
"I drink water water and milk too, by the way are you prepared for day after tomorrow exam?" I said
"I guess so"
"How do get time to study when you literally be on the ground half the time" it wss as if i was interviewing him
"6:30-10:30?"
"Ohh"
The tring sound of the entrance door, shifted my eyes to the door.
No.
No.
No way
It was Reo. Reo Mikage. With his white haired best friend. He looked at the place and finally turning his eyes upon me.
Eye contact once again. His eyes were enough to tell as if he didn't want to see me. Just seeing those same pair of eyes were enough to bring back tears in my eyes, but now it's not the right place and right people. He broke the eye contact and shifted to the person who was there with me.
Rin.
This time his eyes..was as if he was sad.
Rin saw my eyes where somewhere else, and turned towards my eye direction.
"Hey Rin" shouted Reo from the entrance
"Hey.." he said in a confused way, and Reo came running towards where we were seated and making the white haired guy stunned and making him no choice but to follow his friend
"I never thought Rin would come to places like this" said Reo
"Well now you know" said Rin
"Be seated" offered Rin
"Nah it's fine" Reo said it with a smile.his eyes didn't.
He took a glance at me and shifted his gaze back to Rin
"She's hikari, my bench mate and my friend" Rin said looking at me and Reo just nodded his head and took a slight glance at me once again
"I never thought you would allow girls near ya"- he was interrupted by his friend
"Wait, you are hikari? Hikari Chan?" Asked the white haired tall guy
"Yea" I Said I said awkwardly.
The Whitehead guy took a glance at Reo and at me and said
"wait. Rio told me about you before.. so you were his ex huh?" He said with amazed look as if he found the treasure from his quest
The next moment it was just silence or more like awkward silence, neither Reo and me said anything back for it.
"Okay will get going bye then." Said Reo and pushing his friend from the back towards the arcade

"It was fun" said Rin as we were now walking to our home and clearing the silence
"Yea" The silence just grew more..

20:00pm
As I came out of the shower, I take a look at the notifications at my phone. None. I decided to text Rin

We should have taken photos😞 but it was fun😌.
I know he'll reply late, so I kept the phone on my nightstand, as I was about to go, I got the tring sound of my phone, it said one notification from Instagram I opened it up
