An Unexpected Turn

Angilas soon stopped, and realized what she was mentioned by herself.

Angilas: What? A kraken?

Ruby's expression soon got a little scared and worried at the same time.

Ruby: Oh no, don't tell me I'm a little worried about this.

Angilas: No, It's not like that. Who are you, and how did you saw me?

Ruby: Uhh... Name's Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken..?

Angilas: What a cute name. *Laughs a little* I'm Angilas. Well, actually it's Angirus, my real name.

Ruby: Jeez, you're such a great hunter, were you expert of doing that?

Angilas: Yep. Sure thing I've trained when my family taught me how to use it.

Ruby: Oh yeah, you did trained for years.

Angilas: At least, that's what I was thinking about it.

Rodan soon flew down beside his sidekick.

Rodan: Hey, what's goin' on here?

Angilas soon looked over his shoulder to see Rodan was next to him.

Angilas: Eh, just nothing in here. I was just talking to someone.

Rodan: Uhh.. I don't know. You're not talking to someone in that place.

Angilas: Not exactly. [Looks over Ruby] Hey c'mon, he won't hurt you.

Ruby soon came out of the temple, much to Rodan's shock and confusion.

Ruby: Uhh... [Waves at Rodan] Hi?

Rodan: Who is she?

Angilas: I'd like to call her, Ruby Gillman.

Ruby: So you were the friend you're talking about. You're Rodan right? The king of the skies alive?

Rodan: Yep, that's me!

Ruby: It was so nice to meet you. You were the two who live here.

Rodan: We live wherever we want.

Angilas: Yeah! Home is where your rump rests. Heh.

Ruby: It's wonderful!

As the three were talking with each other and their lives, Simon watches them from behind the rocks. To his surprise, one of them, was very familiar. The bellowing sound alerted among the three. Angilas and Rodan looked back to see his friend, approaching them, along with Ruby, as she's backed up slowly.

Simon: Ruby? Was that really you?

Ruby's shock turned to realization, as she reconized who he was.

Ruby: Who are you?

Simon: Don't you remember? It's me.

Ruby: Simon?

Simon then nodded excitedly, happy to see his friend alive again. Ruby's face breaks into a smile. They soon began to laugh, as they hugged each other joyously.

Simon: Ruby, what are you doing? Oh, my...

Ruby: I don't believe it.

Simon: Look at you!

Ruby: *giggles* Oh, where have you been? I thought you were dead.

Much to their confusion, the duo soon realized what Simon and Ruby recognized each other. However, they were soon interrupted, when Earl pounced on Simon.

Earl

Noah, Earl's adoptive brother, also came here to investigate. He had a horn on his shout, his dorsals glowed purplish-blue color. Once interesting thing that Noah has, was he has thagomizers at the end of his tail.

Noah

Noah: Ruby! [Hugs her] You're all right.

But then they looked back at Simon and Earl, who were play-fighting, viciously. Angilas and Rodan were also viewing this conflict. The new king soon knocks Earl away, as he growls and swipe at him but he growls back. However, Ruby stood in from of her adoptive brother, defending Simon.

Ruby: Stop fighting him, brother!

Earl: Ruby, stay out of this!

Ruby: No, he is just peaceful.

Noah: Peaceful? I thought he was about to get deadly.

Angilas: How do you two know each other?

Ruby and Earl then turned to Angilas and Rodan.

Ruby: Rodan, Angilas, I want you to meet my brothers. This is Noah, [Noah smiles] and this is Earl.

Earl: You were the ones who met her?

Angilas & Rodan: Yes we are.

Noah: Heh, you two look like a good duo.

Simon: You look like I've never met you before.

Noah: Same to you, Simon. Great to meet you.

Simon and Noah soon hand-shake each other in their first meeting, much to Earl's confusion and Ruby's delight.

Earl: Okey. Thanks to Angilas, we're now traveling together and like it or not, we're gonna like one big happy crew.

Ruby: Jeez, calm down Earl.

Earl: *groans* Fine! As long as they will be each other, I'll not get angry again.

Rodan soon flew onto Angilas' back.

Rodan: A wise decision. You are no match for His Royalness.

Earl: That can be arranged.

Ruby: My brothers and I would be delighted to come with you. Would we join with you guys?

Simon: Yes. I know when it feels like.

Ruby soon hugged her friend, smiling in delight.

Noah: *chuckled* How nice.

Ruby: I guess we could just stay with you for a while now.

Angilas soon walked up to his best friend, along with Rodan.

Angilas: Simon, do you really think our team will protected?

Simon: I don't know but in a few days this place is gonna be like our new home. If there's any hope, we'll find it.

The trio soon headed off, with Ruby and her brothers followed them. Unbeknownst to them, two Skullcrawlers were peaking out from the rocks. They've looked at each other for brief period, and then they looked back at the gang.
