That morning, you had taken your leave from the hospital, saying your goodbyes to the staff and Sanbica. It was sad to leave the people who had treated you like family unconditional of your sudden arrival to the place, and you'd be sure to visit again soon.

Currently, you were walking along the dirt path of the forrest, although it was just a trail of gooey mud at this point. The dirt path had been saoked from the harsh rain, the slimy ooze grasping to your shoes with every step, moulding to the print of the soul. various puddles had formed and allowed the cascading rain to carry mucks of fallen leaves and sticks into them.

Despite your love for rain, you couldn't wait to find some decent shelter. Your clothes were heavy, pooling with water and dragging your body down. Your shoes were wet and clammy, and any exposed skin was being showered by the unrelenting rain. The cold temperatures in the morning didn't help either, it just made every strike of rain feel like a piercing attack.

As you continued to trample through the forrest you got used to the pouring rain, starting to feel peace in its melodic rythm as it evenly hit onto the leaves of the towering trees and splashed into the puddles littering the trail. And for the first time since you had arrived in this mysterious world, you finally had time by yourself, time to reflect on the bundle of events that occurred in this short period of time.

You had been in this world for around 2 months and have been happier here than you were in all your time back home. However, you were still curious about how things were back there. Were your parents worried about you? Did anyone even realise you were gone? How did you end up here?

The last thing you remembered was passing out on the cold, wet pavement outside the funeral hall. Had someone sent you here? Did you somehow travel here on your own? None of the conclusions you derived felt possible, but to be fair, nothing about this situation made any sense.

But you weren't gonna complain. You were finally able to live your life they way you wanted, getting away from the horrible past with your parents. Would you somehow get sent back? Your body shivered at the thought, terrified to go back to how things used to be. Maybe one day, you'll find the courage to return back to your own world. By then, you'll have lots of stories to tell your brother. But currently, you dreaded even the idea of it.

The harsh rain began to soften to a drizzle, lightly running through your hair and dripping to the floor. The fresh smell of grass and wet soil became more prominent now that the rain had calmed and the rays of light were beginning to peek through the dense grey mass above.

The cease of rainfall made the rest of the treck more efficient, and the blazing sun that had been uncovered had successfully dried you up by the time you reached the entrance of the local town. Just by getting closer, you could hear the loud shouts of vendors, the corosing music of the street performers, and the laughing of people crowding the streets.

As soon as you entered the large metal gates, you could feel the rush of exitement and warth envelop you. Though the town was not grand or fancy, it was still filled with a variety of stores and decorated with neatly arranged flower beds, statues, and a large water fountain that dictated the centre of it all.

You continued walking through town, stumbling through the large vacinity, avoiding any kids that ran past whilst trying to find the store you were looking for. And once you got closer to the back side of town, you found it. An electronics store.

You had wanted to purchase a phone for a while now. It has been such an inconvenience being unable to contact others and just having the luxuries of technology.

Your skin tingled as you entered the store, and your senses were intruded by the unexpected cool air inside the store. The air conditioner must've been running on full power or something. You had remembered back in the show, leorio has convinced his friends to purchase some sort of beetle phone. You thought it was cute and wanted to purchase that exact model.

The store was pretty easy to navigate, with signs plaster on the walls with models and brands sorted in logical sections. And soon enough you found the phone you had been looking for. Today must have been you lucky day because when you reached the aisle you saw that only one was left. You quickly rushed to grab the last one, giddily walking toward it and reaching your hands out.

'What-'

You hand had made contact with someone elses. You flinched slightly, whipping your head up to identify the stranger. To your shock, you were met with an endearing face. His skin was fare and he had a flawless complexion, his hair was a perfectly blonde shade that was complemented by his eyes which were deep shade of emerald, that seemed so familiar. Your eyes trailed down to his lips where he held an almost unnoticeable smile, the corners of his lips curved up in some sort of smirk?

'Uh sorry about that but I really need this phone right now.'

The sound of his mellow voice brought you out of your daze.

'What? No, I wanted it. Plus I touched it first.'

'No you didn't, it was clearly me, perhaps you need to buy yourself some glasses instead.'

You were shocked at the contrast between his face and personality, unable to make any comeback to the insulting comment. So instead, you did what anyone else would've done. And just like that, you grabbed the phone, grasping it tightly and made a run for it. Your arms swinging in coordination with the movement of your feet, sprinting out of the store before the stranger even got the chance to register what had happened.

You'll just have to come back later and pay for the phone. For now, you gotta make sure you don't run into anymore weirdos like him as you make your way to heavens arena.
