"See you later, Kitty!" Karina patted Haerin's head and then pulled me along with her.
"Kitty?" I mumbled under my breath.
"I've heard that before," I thought to myself.
"Yeah, she kind of looks like a cat!" Jimin giggled out.
"Huh?" I was so confused.
"You haven't noticed?!" Karina looked shocked.
I furrowed my brows a bit. "Umm, I don't think I've ever looked at her for too long," I honestly answered.
"Yeah, oookkkay!" Jimin suddenly teased.
I was so confused by her behavior that I eventually just strayed away from her and went to class.
The rest of the school day was going super slow. It was around 3rd period that I decided to just roam around the school.
As scared as I was of the rain, there was a bit of comfort to it.
I could feel my parents through it.
"Oh, I'm sorry!" Someone suddenly bumped into me.
It was Kang Haerin.
"It's okay," I answered a bit worried.
We had bumped into each other pretty hard.
"Are you okay?" I made sure I didn't hurt her.
"Mhm, I was just coming from the bathroom," she answered a question I hadn't asked.
I gave her a light smile and realized how wide her eyes were at times.
"She really does look like a cat," I thought to myself.
The way she was slowly blinking her eyes didn't help either.
A few seconds went by, and I realized Haerin was just staring at me. I felt like I needed to walk away, but the way she was looking at me just drew me in closer to her.
I stepped a bit closer and asked, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

- Haerin POV -
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Y/n asked.
All I wanted to answer was...
"I've missed you."
But I couldn't.
"Hello?" Y/n suddenly waved their hand in front of me.
"Haerin-ssi?" Y/n asked.
I was too in a trance to answer.
"Kang Haerin-ssi?" I heard Y/n's muffled voice again.
"We have to get Y/n off live support. This isn't healthy anymore," Yoongi oppa told me.
I shook my head in response.
"Haerin, just accept it," Oppa told me the same thing he always does.
"If only we had never met..," I thought to myself.
"Goyangi?" Y/n suddenly flicked my forehead.
I shook my head from the sudden action and was brought back from my thoughts.
"Goyangi?" I giggled at the sudden nickname.
"Yeah, Jimin said you looked like a cat and I can see it now," Y/n cutely chuckled.
"Jimin?" I asked a little hurt.
"Yeah, she pointed it out this morning. I can see why," Y/n kept laughing a little.
"Although, you look more like a little ugly frog to me," Y/n teased.
"Ugly?" I felt offended.
"Okay, fine. A cute one!" Y/n laughed.
I couldn't stop smiling from the sudden teasing.
*CRAACKKK*
Lightning suddenly rippled through the sky.
Out of pure fear, I ran into Y/n's arms.
"Are you alright?" Y/n sounded confused.
I tried to pull away, knowing I shouldn't have done what I did, but Y/n quickly pulled me back into their arms.
"It's okay. Whenever you're scared, you can always hug me...," Y/n gave me a shy smile.
I looked at Y/n for a bit...
Before stepping up to rest my head on their chest.
