"I'm off to my chambers to change, I'm going for a ride" she smiled opening the door to the chambers.

"of course, I shall make sure your horse is saddled up" rose curtsied before leaving. "wait rose" Velaena shouted causing her to pause, "not horse riding, dragon riding" she smiled and rose nodded her head and left. She threw her riding clothes on, fixed her hair and left before anyone could have a second opinion.

She wondered through the halls, making her way towards the gates of the castle. Each foot stepping closer and closer to relaxation. Dallax was being kept in the dragon pits not far from the castle but he was getting big, fast. So soon he would have to live outside the city gates nesting like Vhagar does.

"Princess your carriage is here to take you to the dragon pits" ser Harold informed her as he sat upon his horse ready to escort her.

"Thank you" she smiled stepping into the carriage and closing the doors. But just as it began to move it was brought to a pause after someone shouted for it to be stopped.

And not a moment later the carriage doors opened and there he stood. His long white hair falling perfectly over his shoulders, his eye patch clinging to his face and his clothes highlighting all the right places.

"mind if I accompany you, ābrazyrys?" And as soon as that last word rolled off of his tongue she was weak. She didn't show it, but on the inside she was jelly. She always loved high Valyrian but especially when he spoke it, it always sounded better.

"aemond I was hoping for a relaxing ride" she adjusted her gloves before looking up. He just gazed at her, almost giving her puppy dog eyes but in this case his eyes didn't change much they only softened a bit.

Velaena stared for a few moments before nodding to the seat in the front of her to which he gladly took without a second thought.

The journey was short but had felt like years and the silence was deafening. A few short glances was all they managed to get across. Although they were married you wouldn't think it, especially considering the awkwardness of the ride.

"Velaena, please don't ignore me we are married" he spoke, his tone with just a hint of sadness. Velaena stared at him and scoffed at his request, especially considering she didn't offer him to join, he came on his own.

"I'm not ignoring you valzȳrys. And this marriage was for duty not by choice" she reminded him. The journey was a short one, so the conversation was ended shortly when the carriage stopped.

Aemond was the first to get up and leave, considering Vhagar was too big for the dragon pits he would have to venture out past the city walls to look for her.

And as Velaena emerged from the carriage there he was. Dallax in all his beautiful. His deep black scales and big green eyes shone in the light. He was beautiful.

A screech came from the big beast as soon as he saw his rider, they had a bond like no other. The keepers were trying to keep him where he was but he was too excited.

"someone is happy to see you" aemond chimed in looking at the beast before him. He hadn't seen Velaena smile in a while and it was nice, he enjoyed seeing her happy even if he wouldn't admit it.

"Lykiri" she smiled walking over to him and placing a hand on his head. He nudged her with his nose sending her stumbling a few feet. Ser Harold stepped closer scared he had hurt the princess but she threw him a comforting look.

"It's okay, im Fine. He doesn't realise how big he is, he's a big softy" she laughed getting ready to ride him. "I shall be back.... I'm not too sure when but don't worry about me".

Aemond nodded towards her as she sat upon him and he took off. He flew up into the clouds, higher than you could see. He was finally free. It had been a while since he had been out and Velaena felt bad about it. Since having the wedding, and the pressure of vaemond questioning their legitimacy it was hard to cope.

And finally when velaena believed she was alone and would have peace and quiet a roar came from behind. Vhagar and aemond, of course it would be them.

"Go away aemond!" She screamed trying to enjoy the ride instead of being on edge. He laughed back at her pathetic attempt to be rid of him.

She rolled her eyes, not that he could see and just rode off. Although Vhagar was bigger Dallax was faster. The two had managed to slip away from them and rode away.

It wasn't that she didn't want to see aemond or spend time with him, she just didn't want to fall for him. She couldn't think that maybe they could work. And she also didn't want to believe that it was already happening.
