Mason and y/n was on their way home from a house party, Mason was very upset with y/n because some guy was flirting with her and she didn't care to add that she had a boyfriend,

MASONS POV:

Was it that i was kinda drunk or was i just overthinking what happened in the house. Some dumb drunk guy started to flirt with y/n. My girlfriend, the girl who i have been with for 3 years. (You guys are both 18)

"Mason why are you so mad?" i hear y/n say, she drank a bit and she was drunk but i was still mad that she couldn't say no i have a boyfriend when the guy asked her to kiss him.

"Maybe because some guy tried to kiss you and you couldn't say i was your boyfriend." i glare at her and get on the freeway. "Mase, i told him no and he walked away. I didn't even have time to talk and say Oh and my boyfriend is Mason Thames so back off" She raised her voice a bit to seem more serious.

"Yes, Y/n thats what you are supposed to say, every god damn time a girl walks up to me and says "hey i like you" i've always said your my girlfriend, the one im with." i exit the freeway and park the car, "Why are you parking.." she looks at me scared.  "Y/n i love you so much, but do you even love me?!" i feel tears start to develop in my eyes

Y/N POV:

"Mason. I love you, I WAS THE FIRST ONE TO SAY I LOVE YOU!" i start to sob and my voice shakes. "I LOVE YOU, I AM ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU." my words start to get louder and a tear falls on my lap.

"Y/n i.." mason looks like he regrets every word he has ever said tonight "MASON THAMES I LOVE YOU TO DEATH, I WILL LOVE YOU ALL THE WAY TO THE MILKY WAY AND BACK TO EARTH. I LOVE YOU" I sit back down and wipe my mascara thats running down my eyes.

"y/n please stop.." mason looks at me and tries to hug me. "why,mason.. why dont you think i dont love you" i scream "Y/n, i wasn't thinking straight, im sorry.." mason rubs my back and wipes a tear from my face.

"then say i love you. like you mean it, like i have the day you asked me to be your girlfriend." i wipe my tears "y/n I love you. If i didn't love you i wouldn't be here in this car, I would be by myself in my dad's house playing video games." he says "I wouldn't be with the girl i love the most." he kisses my forehead

"Im sorry. I should of thought that you were trying to defend yourself." mason says and looks at the road, "I was trying to get to you." i say and bite my nails "Y/n dont bite your nails" he chuckles a bit and grabs my hand,

"I was trying to look for you, I felt if i called your name or said that he would of taken me, he was like 22" I look down and masons eyes widen

Mason POV:

My heart breaks. y/ns biggest fear is getting taken, or losing me. "Y/n why didn't you tell me?" i soften my voice because i see y/n i shaking
"I was scared to tell you, i didn't want him to track you down. I could type in Mason thames on google and your whole life story pops up." her voice shakes, I hold her hand and rub her hand with my thumb. "y/n next time if you feel scared, walk away and run to me. I will protect you.." i say and she smiles and hugs me

y/n crys all the way home. I feel so bad for her, her whole life was her family yelling at her and she never felt safe, She only felt safe with me..

I open the front door and y/n walks inside and drops her bag and sadly sits in the couch, "y/n im sorry" i sit next to her and rub her back. she nods and looks at me , her eyes are so red..

           "i love you" i say and kiss her.
