I scoffed "Tell me something I dont know."

"Something you dont know? Youve dated him even though hes an egoistital dick?"

'I think hes just jealous of Rin..'

"Yeah. He was like that when I first met him."

Sae stayed silent until he decided to ask the only important question

"Did you break up with him or he did?" Sae was ready to throw hands if I broke Rin's heart- damn.

"Uhh.. no. He was the one who broke it off but I saw it coming. But no one cheated- how about I tell you how Rin and I met?"

Sae just nodded and let me start

"So long ago-" I felt a paper ball thrown at my face

"Dont make it so long." Sae said coldly

"YOU DAMN BASTARD- IT RUNS IN THE FAMILY I FUCKING SWEAR-"

"Ahem. Continuing on." I cleared my throat

"He was actually one of the more delinquent kinds of students, getting into fights."

"So he wasnt a nerdy kid?" Sae was surprised to hear that his little brother aint studious like him

"The hell? Where were you when Rin was in high school?"

"Playing soccer." Sae replies flatly

"Oh. Right. Well I found him on the ground in the hallway, all injured with bruises."

"Injured as in physically injured?"

"Yeah what else you dumb midfielder?"

"So youre telling me that weak brother of mine is so weak that he gets beated up by some lukewarm kids?"

"He's strong. Just picked fights with the wrong people." I sighed

"Well then I brought him to the infirmary and had him be treated."

"You? Did you carry him?"

"No look, I made him fly using magic."

Sae grumbled "Annoying."

"I got that a lot."

'I dragged him to the infirmary... maybe better not to tell Sae or hes going to whop my ass-'

"Oh- so after that, I just kept finding him injured. I was basically his ambulance."

"I didnt know he was THAT weak." Sae clenced his eyebrows and shook his head in dissappointed

"He had a few lose strings. So I decided to help him." I shrugged and took a bit of my coffee

"Rin?" Sae was confused

"Yeah. I found out how the fights started. Usually started with them provoking Rin into getting into a fight with them with words and then it gets physical."
