Part One

Clouds of all colours shrouded the sky in the early morning as i walked to school, it's most likely going to rain today again.
I hear people in the courtyard shouting at each other, greeting each other even though it's only been a couple months since they've last met.
Some people call my name but i ignore, being bothered is the last thing i want right now.
"Zandra how was your break?" "Zanny did you have fun?!" "Let's hang out after school!"
To be honest I can't even remember any of their names.
I continue walking to class, as i enter the school building you can hear loud yelling, people throwing things, teachers yelling, the lights buzzing, cicadas singing, and other school noises.
A kid with bright orange hair zips past me, knocking my stuff out of my hand.
"Watch it ginger." They curse me out as i grab my stuff off the floor.
As i stand up i see Jak standing in the corner. He waves then walks back into the wall where he came from.
The first bell rang so i headed towards homeroom.
"Everyone get in your seats before I loose my damn mind." The teacher scowled.
Me and her got along well since we both hated the kids in this school.
"Welcome back Zandra."
I nodded my head to her.
"Okay, everyone get out your books.."

Lunch rolled around and i ate my jambon beurre sandwich my sister packed for me.
"Can my friends and i sit here?" Some random blonde kid asks.
"No."
"Oh- damn alright." He walked away and i went back to eating my sandwich.
Jak sat in front of me and watched as i ate my food.
We sat in silence and he patted my head, making me feel a bit better about being back.

School's finally let out and i sprinted to my locker and got my stuff, and ran home.
"Zandra slow down you're gonna trip and fall."
My sister, Mariette, opened the door for me.
"Sorry i wanted to get home quickly."
"It's okay, i made you some chocolate mousse cups if you want any."
"Thank you."
"No problem."
I grabbed one from the counter and went to my room down the hall. It was refreshing because I cleaned it the night before.
"Za..nd..ra." Jak called from the closet.
"Hello Jak."
"H..i." His raspy voice was rarely heard but when it was it was very kind.
I started working on my homework and i finished in an hour, it was now 19:00 so i watched tv for the rest the night.
I heard a knock on my wall
"Come in."
Mariette walked in with a blank expression.
"What is it?"
"Zanny, I got a boyfriend!" She started crying.
"Good for you Mari!!" I got up and gave her a hug.
"Alsooo, he's stopping by to spend the night" she said with a nervous smile.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME FIRST." I raised my voice a bit from also being nervous, since my room doesn't have a door.
"It just came up sorry!!"
"It's okay, I'm gonna spend the night at a friend's house to give yall privacy, is that okay?"
"Of course, and let me know if you need a ride."
"Alright."

I walked towards my friend house at around 19:30, the sun was setting so it was getting dark.
I heard whispers coming from around me and then all of a sudden everything around me went pitch black.

Okay this first chapter was short but it's only the introduction, and if you wanna see more of Mariette and her boyfriend (Ayumu) let me know ill write more :3
