The night settled upon Malibu, the quiet sound of waves seeped through the open windows with a gentle breeze. A quiet peaceful night for the Starks. Tony Stark laid on his sofa, patting his child's back gently as his eyes focused on the screen in front of him.
"What a lovely night Hollywood ! So many celebrities reunited upon this exiting moment" a woman announced brightly towards the camera
"That's right Hellen, tonight many talented people will compete for the recognition of the Oscar's!" A man shouted off receiving cheering in the background from the spectators that he eagerly awaited the arrival of their favorite actors
Tony watched intently as the camera view changed inside the building where the event was taking place. People crowded as they reached for their seats.
The camera switched back to the red carpet where a couple celebrities were being interviewed. Suddenly bright flashes and shouts appeared in the background
"And there she is, the woman of the moment, no other than Savanah Williams who has shaken the acting world with her incredible talent, her movie The Secrets We Keep has taken the world by storm, it truly is a masterpiece!" Hellen reported in the background as the camera focused on the woman they spoke of
There she was, Savanah Williams, stepping out of a limousine in a gorgeous black and gold gown. She truly looked ethereal, like a celebrity, she truly became what she wanted to be. Suddenly a man go out behind her.
"Oh my god! This is unbelievable, Aaron Jones steps out as her date for tonight!" Hellen exclaimed in awe
The camera focused on the couple as Savanah held into his arm. Aaron Jones, the latest hottest actor that had woman swooning at his mere presence, none other than Savanah Williams leading male actor in her movie.
Flashes ignited as they walked the carpet, questions thrown at them at the same time that were hardly understandable
Savanah looked radiant, happy as Aaron kissed her on the cheek which caused an uproar in the crowd. A petite woman approached the couple holding a microphone
"Savanah how do you feel tonight?" She asked intrigued her gaze captivated on the woman in front of her
Savanah flashed her a dazzling smile
"I feel great, it's so surreal being here, such an honor to be nominated tonight, I am so grateful that the fans liked my performance, I gave it my everything and I am so so grateful that I am being recognized " she confessed full of gratitude
Tony rolled his eyes
"You're welcome" he mumbled taking a zip of his drink
"And oh my gosh what a surprise, Aaron Jones being for your partner for tonight wasn't expected, fans have been praising the chemistry your characters had in The Secrets We Keep, tell me is this chemistry also in real life?" The woman asked eagerly to the both of them
Aaron Jones smiled charmingly
"Savanah is great, we quickly became close, it's impossible not to like her" he stated simply but left desiring for more
The woman smiled in defeat at not receiving a juicier answer
"He became my partner in crime, I'm so thankful that he accompanied me at my very first event, couldn't do it without him" Savanah stated. A couple more questions and they joined the rest inside the building
The camera shifted higher allowing a view of the crowd of fans
"Quite a shock for Savanah Williams, many fans are surprised and excited at seeing her accompanied tonight after she revealed she wasn't looking for a relationship" Hellen spoke to her coworker
"That's right, being less than a year since the end of her relationship with Tony Stark himself" her coworker replied
"Tony?" The voice of Pepper called out peeking from behind the wall
"Oh hey" Tony muttered as he turned the TV off
Pepper approached him, noticing the screen from the corner of her eye
"I need a couple signatures" she muttered placing a folder in front of him
Tony shuffled as he sat up and shifted the baby to his left arm
"Are you okay?" Pepper asked him softly noticing the dark circles under his eyes
Tony hummed softly
"I'm fine Pep, we both just have a lot to get used to" he muttered pushing the folder back to her
Pepper pursed her lips
"You're doing great Tony, she loves you" Pepper smiled
Tony smirked proudly at her
"Of course she does I'm the best" he answered smugly
Pepper rolled her eyes as she headed out
"Get some rest" she shouted
Tony watched her walk away silently
The baby fussed in his arms, snapping him out of his thoughts
"Shhh it's okay Sammy let's get some sleep" he whispered as he headed upstairs
Hours passed as Tony Stark watched his daughter sleep next to him. He placed the baby bottle on his drawer and took his phone. He scrolled slowly until he paused.
'Savanah Williams wins Oscar for best actress' read the headline
"So you finally got it huh" he muttered to himself as he placed his phone away and gazed at his daughter
Perhaps Savanah Williams got the fame she always wanted, but Tony got something she could never have, a family.
