Getting to know them

Start from the beginning

William calmly grabbed the hat and removed it from his head.

Nobody made a sound.

Everyone stared at William, whose eyes glazed over the hat.

He gave the hat to Pentious,

Will: "This game is over"

William stood up and walked away.

Taken aback by the hat's response, it took a while to come to terms with what they just saw.

When they did, everyone went their separate ways. To do things that they do, if with a bit of awkwardness.

Charlie: "I should check on him."

Vaggie: "No, hun, I think you need to leave him alone."

Charlie: "But he could be sad!"

Vaggie didn't want Charlie to be near William, she just didn't trust him.

Vaggie: "Then how about this, I look for him while you cheer up the others"

Charlie regained some of her usual cheerfulness.

Charlie: "Really! you would do that for me!"

Vaggie sighed.

Vaggie: "Yes hun, now go"

Charlie kissed her lover's cheek, making Vaggie turn slightly red.

Charlie: "Thank you, now I'm off to cheer the others! They surely need some good vibes"

Vaggie watched her run toward where the others presumably were.

Vaggie: 'She's so adorable'

Remembering the task at hand she slightly grumbled and headed to William's room.

When Vaggie arrived at the room, she noted that the door was slightly open.

She peeped inside.

William's room was much different from the other's, for starters, the floor was made of wood and so were the walls, a balcony was stationed at the far end of the wall. The room had few decorations, only a TV, radio stand, and an old disc player. The bed sheets were a shade of dark blue with it being quite big.

A table sat near the bed with a picture frame on it.

The frame held what she assumed was a picture of his family, however, it wasn't a genuine picture, it was a very impressive drawing, almost realistic in detail.

Wandering more she noticed that William was standing on the balcony.

As she neared the door to the balcony William turned to her for a second before returning to view the park.

Will: "What do you want?"

Vaggie stepped forward, her eyes narrowed.

Vaggie: "I should be asking you that"

She took her spear out of nowhere. She didn't point it at him, but it reassured her to be prepared, just in case.

Vaggie: "I know who you are and I know what you've done"

He made no move to speak so she continued.

Vaggie: "William, the soul demon, appeared suddenly out of nowhere, hosting abilities that not even the angels could use. You created a slave market. No sinner was safe from you."

Vaggie's animosity was clear as day.

Vaggie: "Now suddenly you're here to help? Not buying it. I know you have something planned for us and whatever it is, I'll stop it. I won't allow you to destroy Charlie's dream."
