Akra sat upon her throne, over looking all her offerings. None of them were even slightly interesting. Most came from people pleading with her to give them more time. Technically she could, but she really didn't want to. The last time she did she got into heaps of trouble.

All the offerings that day did nothing to rescue her from her boredom. But that was nothing new. It never has been. The infinite patience that came with being the goddess of time was the only reason she hadn't set fire to a couple of particularly rude people. The other gods were busy as their domains nearly required them to be everywhere all at once. The loneliness that came with that and the complete indifference to all mortals combined made life dull. It was beginning to get to the point where even bad change was welcome.

The day was coming to a bitter end and the stream of mortals coming in began to disappear. Which only meant her job was about to get more difficult.

    "Uhhhhh, fuck!"

Akra stumbled out of her temple as the stars rose, a bottle of wine in hand, praying to Uvarinius that it would help her survive the night.

    "Akra!"

    "Shit-"
