Geto asked
"Nothing much, protect me like usual. I doubt something bad would happen. Not many people know about it either. We just have to act like a newly married couple on their honeymoon - JESUS GRACIOUS! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"
Mayumi screamed the last part as Geto just almost made a car crash by pulling the brake so hard
She put a hand on her heart, while both Geto and Gojo were stared back at her in pure shock. Their bodies were frozen in shock
"Are you crazy? Did you forget how to drive? You almost killed me!"
She said in an annoyed tone
They were still looking at her in disbelief
"W-What did you say?"
Geto asked with wide eyes
"What? I just said we had a mission -
"Not that. What did you have to act like?"
Gojo screeched
Mayumi looked just confused
"I said we had to act like newly married couple on their honeymoon.... Why? Dad told me you gave him permission for this. He even made a fake Id for me in the name Mrs. Geto Mayumi. "
They were still staring at her with disbelief
Geto did felt a tug in his heart. A happy tug when he heard "Mrs. Geto Mayumi". It sounded perfect
"Geto Mayumi?"
"Didn't you know? But dad told me you gave him permission"
Geto tried hard to remember but he just couldn't. In all of the meetings for the past 3 days, he was distracted because he was worried Mayumi won't talk to him. Maybe that's why he didn't notice
A warm smile came to his face as he started the car again
"I don't mind at all, princess. I love the name though. It has a good ring to it, Geto Mayumi, don't you think?"
Mayumi softly chuckled, nodding her head
"I liked it too. Wanna see the card? I have it"
She said while looking for something in her bag. She brought a card and gave it to Geto
He took it, even Gojo looked over, it was a driving licence by the name Geto Mayumi
Geto couldn't even describe how he was feeling. He couldn't stop the smile on his face. Even if it was fake, it made him so happy
Gojo pouted
" Gojo Mayumi is also pretty, you know?"
Mayumi chuckled again, nodding her head
"It does sound pretty. But I don't understand why you two are so interested in this. It's just a name. And an act"
They looked back at her
"You might have to take this name in the future. So think before you say things, princess "
Mayumi paused, a loop skade smile on her face as she looked back at them
"Don't you think you're thinking a bit too much? Male and their weird egos. I will never understand you. "
Gojo chuckled
"Nothing there to not understand. We said you might have to take this name in real life in the future "
Mayumi lifted her perfectly shaped eyebrow at them
"Are you indicating that I would marry you in the future?"
They just shrugged, quiet for a moment
"Hmm. We'll see about that in the future. Marriage is not something to make fun of. For getting married, you have to give a rock my finger, you know? So stop being childish in this matter "
Mayumi said, looking down at her phone. Her thick makeup covering her natural blush
"We'll see what is childish or not, baby. You'll see too"
Gojo said, a shit eating grin plastered on his face
"Aren't you a little too young to act like married person tho?"
Gojo asked
"Do I look like a sixteen year old to you?"
Mayumi asked, making them look back and they couldn't argue, she looked at least 21. A gorgeous woman
They shook their heads
"Don't worry. I'll just do my makeup nicely and can look a lot older than my age."
She said
Making the boys look at each other
They reached the fair in no time
To Gojo and Getos surprise, Nanami, Haibara, Shoko, Mei Mei and Utahime were already there
Shoko, Nanami and Haibara were left astonished when they saw Mayumi taking these two as her date even after so much happening that day. The other two didn't know anything so they didn't see anything wrong
"Mayumi-chan! You look so pretty?"
Utahime said, giving the young girl a hug
"Thank you, Hime-chan. You look amazing yourself"
Mayumi said, a pleasant smile on her face
"A-are you really gonna take this two as your date?"
Shoko asked in disbelief, making Gojo and Geto glared at her
"Yeah. I don't see s problem. I am fine, don't worry about me. Now, nii-chan I want that"
She said, pointing to the dango stand
Gojo smiled, wrapping his arms around her waist and bringing her closer
"Sure darling. Let's go"
He said, leaving the place. But he did give a warning glare at Shoko
The night went by like that, Geto and Gojo brought her anything she wanted. They were delighted to see Mayumi so comfortable with them. She always wrapped herself closer to them whenever she got cold or wanted anything.
She didn't even stop Gojo when he kissed her on the lips, away from everyone's eyes. She just looked at him soft eyes and wiped her lipstick away from his lips
Time went on like this till it was time for the fire works
It was beautiful as they watched it fro from the cherry blossom field. They brought a mat to sit down and enjoy the fireworks
Gojo had his head on her lap, while Geto wrapped his arm around her, keeping her warm. Her head leaning on his shoulder and his head on her head
"I just wish to stay like this with them for the rest of my life"
Mayumi thought, looking up at the skies
