Two very long but for some, very short, weeks had passed. During the two weeks Liv had been away, it had been an eerily quiet time for firehouse 51. Not many callouts for truck or squad but the ambo's had been quite busy. In the midst of things, an old but familiar face had returned to firehouse 51. Oliva and Antonio had had the most amazing time in Hawaii for their honeymoon and were now on their way back home. The flight had gone smoothly for once with no delays or turbulence. Olivia had practically slept all the way home with Antonio drifting in and out whilst taking in the views from the plane window Olivia was sitting next to. 30 minutes after the plane landed on the runway, everyone was finally allowed to disembark the plane. After collecting their carry-on bags and jackets from the overhead storage, the couple walked off the plane and down the tunnel hand in hand.
"Ughh, and of course it's raining. Can we just go back to Hawaii?" Olivia joked as they looked out of the window of the airport and saw the typical Chicago weather.
"As much as I'd love that, unfortunately, we both have jobs to get back to." Antonio reminded her.
"Ughh." Olivia groaned. She loved her job, but it had been nice getting away for a few weeks. Surprisingly, it took them quite a while to get through security even though the airport didn't seem to be too busy. Both Olivia and Antonio had been pulled aside for random extra security checks. After almost an hour, they were finally handed back their bags and were free to leave. Olivia couldn't help but stop to do a little bit of shopping in the small selections of shops that were near the exit. Making it out of the airport, they went to find Olivia's car which they had left in the long stay car park. After loading up the bags, they quickly got in the car as it started to rain again.
"I'm thinking...pizza?" Olivia grinned as she pulled out of the airport and headed back into town.
"Sounds good." Antonio agreed happily. They were both starving so anything sounded great right about now. It took them almost 40 minutes to get back into town and to the Italian restaurant that they liked, having been stuck in traffic for most of that time.

After enjoying a lovely three course meal at their favourite little Italian restaurant, the newlyweds headed home. Arriving home 15 minutes later, Antonio made the decision to leave the bags in the car as it was getting late. Olivia unlocked the front door right before Antonio came up behind her. He scooped her up into his arms bridal style, making her squeal.
"Welcome home Mrs Dawson." He grinned, carrying her over the threshold.
"Why thank you Mr Dawson." She grinned before leaning in to kiss him. Antonio kicked the door shut with his foot before he headed off upstairs, still carrying Olivia.
