Chapter Three |Really?|

" Good Morning everyone how was your day yesterday? " She asked the class. Silence. Then after a few seconds someone spoke up

" Why the hell do you want to know how our day went yesterday when it's a whole new fucking day. " A guy name Davion said making the whole class laugh

" Well Davion , for your info it's the polite thing to do " she said as someone knocked on the door

" Thank the lord , now I can go to sleep " I said putting my head on the desk. Usually the class gets excited , because she would go out there and talk to whoever the person was for hours and would leave us in here doing nothing. Surprised she didn't get fired yet.It was wrong of her but who am I to complain, I don't do any of her work.

She went to go answer the door as the class cheered her on. I kept my head down not bothering to look up.

" Ight Chris we're going to try this again, please try to act right for once " he said while knocking on the door. We were outside of a math class that I've been to before, but for like 35 minutes on my first day of school

" Mr. Don whats seems to be the problem ? " the lady who came out the classroom asked

" Nothing , nothing um Chris uh is here uh to um maybe join your class again" This nigga was stuttering like crazy I guess he liked her or something

" Of course maybe we can start off fresh this time right Chris? " She asked me

" I guess " I said not really caring as we walked in the classroom

When we walked in the class was completely silent with wide eyes and confused faces. You could also hear someone snoring.

" Class this is Chris he- " she stopped in the middle of her sentence

" Ok who is snoring while I'm trying to speak " Everyone started looking around then they all pointed to some girl sitting way in the back

" AVERY WAKE UP!! " She yelled. No response. I really hope it wasn't the Avery I knew

She walked over to the girls seat then tapped her. The girls head shot up with surprise. I cursed to myself when I saw it was Avery

" No sleeping in class! " she said then walked back to me. The class started laughing mad hard.I looked over at Avery who didn't pay them no mind. She started fixing herself and making sure she didn't have slob on her face. Once the teacher began introducing again as soon as she said my name Avery looked directly at me

" Chris why don't you go and sit by Avery maybe you can keep her company " she said in a sexual meaning then laughed to herself cause no one was laughing with her

" Lame " " That was lame as hell " " I'm telling the principal " " Girl sit down you like 50 years old " people started shouting out

" Why the hell does he have to sit next to me?" " There's plenty of room up front " Avery said trying to avoid me sitting next to her. Tbh I really didn't even want to sit next to her mean ass it was this fine ass girl who kept looking at me every since I walked in who I wanted to sit with

" Fine , Chris you may choose a seat where ever you may like " You already know where I went. I sat behind her then asked what her name was

" What's your name , baby? " I bit my lip as she turned around in her seat

" Jasmin " she said then giggled

" Stop disrupting class Chris, I'm trying to get my education!! " Avery yelled across the room someone was jelly

The bell rang and it was time to go to another class. I successfully got Jasmin number which wasn't hard at all. She was feenin for CJ so I told her I would meet up with her tonight, but then again I forgot I had after school detention

AVERY

" Kiron you don't understand he did that shit right in front of me " I said pissed. We were now walking to our next class that we still didn't have together. he was only in my 3rd and 4th period

" You mean in front of the class, wait not even. You said they were talking while the teacher was teaching " he said

" Ugh just leave me alone ! " I was so frustrated and angry for no reason. I did something I actually thought I would never do. Go to class, sit down and learn something for once, listen to the teacher and do my work .

There was clearly something wrong with me for deciding to do this, but I needed something to help me stop focusing on Chris stupid ass

Who would've thought... I actually did something productive today.

Chris is really doing something to me.
