Kai's pov:

(its spring btw & really hot)

Ugh! Anther hot spring day in Ninjago. I hate these days alot. Most days like this I'm not forced to go outside but APPARENTLY I have to every now and then. Why did I ignore Nya and choose to wear this jacket today??

Nya's pov:

I finally got Kai to go outside!!! Now I just need a reason to keep him out there....maybe he could talk with Cole? They seem to be close. Runs to where Cole is and ask Jim to go outside and talk to Kai

"Uh...sure? Why though? I thought he hated being outside when it was really hot."

"He does but the sunlight is good for him. So pleeaaassseee will you go out there and talk to him?"

" chuckles Alright Nya. I'll do it."

I celebrate and watch as Cole walks out and starts talking with Kai. Hopefully he's enough to keep Kai outside for at least 10 more minutes.

Cole's pov:

I leave Nya and head towards Kai who looks like he's melting in the heat.

"Smart move to wear a jacket today!" I joke.

"Oh shut up!! I thought it looked cool and I had no intentions to leave the building until time to go home. And how the hell did you get away with a tank top?!"

"Simple Kai, it's hot. Not all of the school faculty are total idiots y'know."

"But most are! Fuckin' hate it."

I sit down next to him on a bench and laugh at Kai's comment.

"You have a point," I say after I finish laughing, "why are you even out here anyways? It's like 90 degrees!"

"Nya made me. Something about vitamin D or something. It's not alll bad though..." He smirks "I get to out here with you now~"

I blush slightly and roll my eyes "Very funny Kai. We should probably head back in now though. School is just about over with anyways. And on top of that, you know Nya will kill you if you make her wait for you!"

Kai laughs "It's funny because it's true. I've nearly died because I hadn't told her I was gonna be late. Buuuttt, do you have anything after school?" He says trying to make me blush. It works on almost everyone else but not me or Nya.

There's an ever so slight blush on his cheeks as I answer, "No I don't have anything. Do you?" I smile a little flirtatious

"No. I was wondering if you'd like to hang out with me at the arcade or something..."

"I'd love to. When is good for you?"

"I can do about 3:15. That good for you, sweetheart?" He smiles quite cocky as his cheeks are a noticeable pink color.

"That's good for me. See ya then, darling ~"

I walk off and can hear Kai's small celebration. Who would've though that through all that cockiness and rudeness was someone who can actually do that? I smile and head home to fix my hair to be better than whatever my hair looks like after school.
