"Ouch!" Minji was down on the floor, soothing her aching head. Hanni was still in shock but she gave Minji an apologetic smile.
"Babe! Are you okay? What happened." Danielle drops her bag and rushes to her girlfriend.
"I was offering to help Hanni with some errands for their film and I was about to go get ready when I slipped and hit the door." Hanni and Minji looked at each other, although most of it was true they couldn't help but to feel guilty.
"I'm gonna get ready, you should ice your head first Minji."
The girl nodded, the couple proceeded to the kitchen whilst Hanni shut her door behind her "I was not about to kiss Kim Minji! What the hell is wrong with me!" She slaps her cheeks, waking herself up from reality.

The five gal pals were in Eugene's car, heading to Kang's apartment to hang out and relax, when Haerin's phone started vibrating, Her Father's call ID flashed on the screen.

"Dad? What's the matter?" She asked worried, she looked at her friends who were motioning her to put her phone on speaker. Such gossip girls.
"I have a very special project for you darling." Even focused on her driving Eugene raises both her brows at Haerin.
"Isn't me being a doctor enough, dad."
"I don't need the attitude, young lady. Seeing as your brother is having a hard time managing the company, I had the brightest idea of letting you give it a whirl." The look on Haerin's face was indescribable.
"Hold on, You want me to manage a company while finishing my fourth year? Am I crazy? Are you crazy?" She couldn't help but raise her voice, clearly her father's expectations of her were unfathomable.
"You'd be the well-rounded daughter I've always wanted you to be, If it doesn't work out being a doctor, I'd hand you Kang Interior Co. Besides that, you're not gonna handle the company, I'm just giving you a special project with our biggest partner. I have to go, I have a scheduled craniotomy. I love you darling." Haerin was left speechless, she was like a robot controlled by her father's liking, as if she hadn't given enough, her passion was thrown out the window, the fact she has to move to study neurology from her father's alma mater.

"Well....that was intense." Cherry said earning a slap on the arm from elle, indicating it wasn't the time to make comments about the situation. The rest of the ride home was nothing but silence, Haerin couldn't understand what she was feeling, was she mad at her father or glad that he sees potential in her.

London, Kang's Apartment
Narrator's Point Of View

They entered the residence and were met with the reeking smell of alcohol, several bottles scattered around the apartment floor, some were shattered into pieces, Haerin's eyes roamed, her brother's laptop was broken, and the obvious hole on the wall, worry filled her mind, she started looking everywhere for him.

"Kang Soobin!" There was no response, she barged into every room available in their apartment, until she heard sobs in his brother's bathroom. The sight broke her heart into pieces, Soobin was seated on his bathroom floor, polo disheveled, and tears running down his face.

"Bin! What the hell!" She cradled her brother's head, wiping his tears away.
"Oh look! It's little miss perfect, take the company why don't ya! Why don't you take everything else too! Like hell I care!" He pushes her with sheer force, causing Haerin to hit her head on the sink, still intoxicated and angry, he stands up and stumbles his way out.
"What the hell are you talking about!" She follows her brother trying her best to ignore the pain In her head.
"Please spare me the pathetic attempt to make me feel better, you know damn well what I mean, Mom built that company, I maintained its glory, and I'm sure as hell won't let you take it away from me!" He shouts at her, not caring if her friends were watching.
"Do you think I want this! I've sacrificed everything to please our father! This whole fiasco with the company shouldn't even involve me, but no! I have to fix this because apparently you can't!"
"After everything that I've done for you, I wouldn't be in this situation if you hadn't left! Everything would've been in order if I was at home!" Haerin's eyes widened, she kept suppressing her anger to try and understand her brothers.
"I never asked you to come! I would've preferred it if you had stayed at ADOR! I'm not a kid anymore, I don't need you to look out for me, I appreciate everything you've done Bin, more than you could imagine, but if you're holding this against me, if you're blaming me for this, then maybe you should leave, do not blame me for your shortcomings." That's it, Haerin left with her friends, her brother was alone in their apartment sobbing, regretting the things he said to her, She was right, why was he blaming her? Why was it her fault. When all they've ever done was to make their parents proud.

"Rin your head is still bleeding, you're gonna need stitches for that." Eugene examines her friend's wound. After the incident they've decided to help their friend, emotionally supporting her through this tough time. They drove to Eugene's apartment and assisted Haerin to treat her.
"I have a kit in my study could you get it please!" Eugene shouts, her friends hurriedly obeyed, assisting her. Eugene was stitching up Haerin, the girl's expression was unreadable, her fists turning white as she tried her best to hold herself together.
"Don't act all tough on us, cry if you will, shout your heart out, hell you can even punch Elle's face if it pleases you." Eugene tried her hardest to ease the younger ones mood.
"Wait hold up! Why my face?! Why can't it be Veronica's" Elle point towards her friend, To which Veronica responded with an offended expression.
"Hey! I've invested in my looks, you think this magic happens overnight?" Their playful banter eases Haerin's feelings and she smiles, but then is replaced with tears.
"Come here, We got you." Haerin broke down on her friend's embrace.
