A woman screamed as a man sharpened his knife “Sh-sh someone might hear” he looked back at her, his gray eyes studying her facial expressions.

The man sighs and walks over to the woman frowning “Would you mind not crying onto your makeup?“ he grabs her face feeling her hot tears on his finger tips “I-I mean after I did it so nicely to make it just perfect and he won’t notice me if I don’t make this perfect.” She made a muffled noise and gave him a nasty glare.“ Why must you insist on causing me trouble? Don’t you want me to find love?”. The woman grows upset and tries to break free from her ropes. Make-up ran down her porcelain cheeks, her lips painted a pretty deep red, and her cheeks a rosy pink she looked doll-like. The man ran a hand through his espresso-brown hair, flipping through a book on the table. The man had been looking through a book all night. He scratched the back of his hand “It has to be perfect, it has to be perfect, it has to be perfect.” He chanted to himself, his voice going more frantic as he went on. He takes a shaky breath and looks back at her. “You, just for tonight you are Ms.Florence Edenburg at the Geneva library, You will die due to a stab wound after you cheat with the countess's husband.” He walks over and slaps her cheek “Eyes up here ms Florence you must know your role in my story, and I'm so sorry you have died but I just must meet him. He who I hold dear . He is my reason for living. “ He looked at ‘Florence’ sadly ‘I really don't want to hurt you, I-I'm not a violent person but I fear this is the only way we can meet. I am truly sorry Ms.Florence.” he grabbed one of her blonde locks “You weren't that good anyway so I shouldn't feel that bad right?” The man looked into her angry green eyes. “You may not be the real Florence Edenburg but you're close enough, you're a cheater and you know it but you won't admit it.”

The man steps back from 'Florence', never taking his eyes off her.  She cries and sobs trying her very best to scream but no one can hear her, after all, it is a library after midnight.  The man turned to look at her, this time he looked angry. “I'm done with you, you had to be imperfect, I had to do this!”  He rushed over with a knife in hand, plunging the piercing blade into her chest. “1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15.” He counts as blood splatters onto his face and clothes, staining his hands a pretty ruby red.

The murderer strips off the stuffy office suit that was on the body. He carefully dresses it into a silky pale purple gown making sure to tear it where the stab wounds are. He meticulously styles the hair creating a dip pompadour, then adding baby breath and violet flowers into the style.

The murderer gently cleans up "Florence's" make-up then redoing it to look like Florence.  He finally removes the limp body's restraints, rope burns can be seen around its wrists and ankles, he frowns as he covers them with silk sleeves. He puts shoes and lace stockings onto the body.  He gently lifted it into his arms, he walked with shaking legs to a small corner of the library. He places it down on the shaggy brown carpet that makes his skin itch. He fixes her dress making it look prim and proper. Opening the pages of a book, and placing it next to him before he starts to move her limbs in a specific position. Once he’s satisfied with how it looks, he cleans the handle of the blade and then drops it. 

The murder smiles as he writes on a clean blank page, sticky red liquid drips onto it.  He finishes writing, and then carefully puts it into an envelope. Holding the letter in his hands as he danced around the room, humming a love song. “ Wise men say only the foolish haste…” he stopped for a minute only to stare at the envelope with a love-stricken smile “But can’t help…” He finally steps out of the library “ falling in love with you” he walks somewhere that feels familiar, only in a sense of spirit. “Take my hand.” He walks on antique granite steps, his soft palms touching the cold golden railing, as he makes his way up. “Take my whole life too” he gives the letter one more lovesick smile “But I can’t help…” he carefully slips the letter into the mailbox slot. “ Falling in love with you…”
