I woke up to my alarm going off.

9:00𝑎𝑚

I realized I forgot to cancel my alarm from the day before but decided to get up anyway. Neither of my parents were up yet so I decided to head to the bathroom and get ready for the day. I don't have any plans for new years considering all my friends are busy off filming different movies so i'm just going to stay home and watch movies.

I took a quick shower and put on some light makeup because I was bored.

I headed downstairs and made some cereal, I was scrolling on TikTok when I got heard my dad come down the stairs, mumbling something to my mom.

"𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘬𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘰 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘰𝘮 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘢 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘺 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘣𝘦 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦." My dad said as he grabbed some eggs out the fridge.

I thought about it and I wasn't sure because what if there wasn't anyone my age? I'd basically be sitting alone the entire night.

"𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨? 𝘚𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘧𝘶𝘯 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘪 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦." I said pushing around my cereal that had now become soggy.

"𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘢t least a few, a lot of people were invited. I know that Mason and Momona are going. Oh and walker scobell, the one who plays mini me, he's about ur age." My dad responded back.

I thought about it, i mean it sounded better then being home alone. I was great friends with Mason after acting with him on The Black Phone and Momona was one of my closest friends, if Mo was going Xochi probably was to. I have never met Walker despite him being my dad's co-star so maybe we could become friends.

"okay yeah that sounds good i'll come" I said as i got up from the table.

My dad seemed surprised i said yes, i guess he thought id rather stay home and watch Gilmore Girls.

"alright then, we leave around 6:30. it's down by the beach btw so dress nice, but also cover up it's gonna be cold." he said.

"okay perfect, i'm going to go play roblox with Mo and Xochi. love youuuuuu" I said dragging out the you as I walked up the stairs.

I got to my room and plopped on my bed and texted mo and Xochi.

I smiled at my phone and flipped onto my stomach. I had never met walker but i had to admit he isn't UGLY. But he's my dad's co-star so that's weird.
