Dom had turned to look at his car, that looked untouched, brand new

"Letty, wouldn't let them junk it" Dayanara sighed with a smile "Even though it was a goddamn curse" he chuckled at that statement

"I don't know about that one" he reclaimed putting his hand onto the car

"When she came back, she was always in here. Working on it" the bittersweetness scratching at her throat "It was weird, like she knew you were coming back"

Dominic clenched his jaw to fight any tears that wanted to come out

"I want to see the crash site"

After they had returned from viewing the site Dom had stopped at the corner street where he was dropping her off

"You saw something back there" she said titling her head

"There was burn marks on the ground" he stated "The kind that could only be caused by nitrometh and there's only one guy in all of LA that sells that"

It wasn't hard to realize his plan and ideas running all over his mind

"Letty was my best friend Dom and I know she would ask you. No, beg you" she corrected herself "let this go before it's too late"

"It's already too late" he looked down

"If you do anything, please. This is me begging you" she said before Dom looked at her sincere eyes "Please, tell me when you're about to do anything. Let me help you"

"I can't loose you too" she pleaded as Dom nodded "I love you" she gripped him hand for comfort before getting out of the car and walking home

As she was walking she was getting clouded with the memories she had with Letty

"Hey you want to race tonight?" she questioned the sleepy girl

"Letty?" she was adjusting her eyes to the light

"Yea, there's a race tonight at the dodger stadium" she said excitedly

"Is Dom there?" she questioned fully awake now

"No he's on a job with the boys" Letty answered "You down chica"

"You know it"

Dayanara was just as good of a racer as Dom of course maybe she couldn't beat him but she never failed to not come in close, the Toretto's held a good name on the streets

"If it isn't cheekbones" a voice called as Dayanara and Letty got out of Daya's baby blue Mazda RX-7 FD

"You guys ready for a rush today" she laughed as Letty threw her arm over her

"Oh they're not ready" Letty chuckled

"Let's do this how we always do it, and settle it on the streets" he called out

"Come on girl you got this" she encouraged the youngest Toretto "Don't overthink just drive. Follow your flow"

"Do I ever fail you Lee" she smiled, as she slowly pulled into the start line

Letty followed the car to the start as the a bright red honda s2000 pulled in next to her, a dark haired browned eyed boy who looked at the Toretto like she was gold

"We racing for money but why don't I race you for that pretty face" he howled

"You'll only see this face at the finish line where you'll be right behind me"

"Oh yeah?" he chuckled "The name's Johnny. Johnny Tran" he introduced

"Dayanara Toretto"

"Yeah I've heard" he grinned "Look I win and I take out that ass"

"Watch it hot wheels, before you end up under my the car used as a finish line" Letty growled getting defensive over her, Daya just laughed

"I'll see you at the finish line D" Letty called before leaving as the race started and she was off "That's my girl"

"Miss Toretto?" a voiced behind her said cutting all her previous thoughts "l'm Michael Stasiak, FBl" she sighed at the word FBI

It wasn't the first time an FBI agent had approached her with questions about Letty

"I believe you and I should have a little chat" he suggested, motioning her to the car

Dayanara had been in the station all night talking to the agents about where Dom was or if she knew anything about what Letty was doing that night of the murder

She was tired of it, desperate to go home

"Hey Tyler, we got a transfer" a familiar voice announced, it was like a shockwave sent through her body "You want to come with me?" the blue eyed man asked her as he looked down into her eyes

She visibly had no other choice than to go with him so she grabbed her bag and followed him

Her mind was racing as they got into the car and drove to a small coffee shop. It was no doubt that he still had an effect on her whether he was just breathing by her
