You're Getting Another Sibling, Charlie Brown!

The school day was over, and everyone was making their way home. The 2 Brown siblings were talking about their day.

"So how is Tommy feeling now, Big Brother?" asked Sally.

"Happy and sad at the same time." Said Charlie Brown.

"What do you mean by that, Big Brother?" Sally asked.

"Happy to be back with his friends, but sad since Emily is moving away." Answered Charlie Brown.

"The very same....?" Sally started.

"Yes, Sally." Said Charlie Brown. "The one who danced with me at the sweetheart ball."

"Good grief. Tommy must have really loved her that much." Sally sighed.

"I wish there was a way to make him feel better about it."

But as Charlie Brown and Sally came home, their father called them to the kitchen.

"Yes, Dad?" asked Charlie Brown.

Mr. Brown said what was happening.

"Mom has to go to hospital?!" Sally exclaimed.

Mr. Brown said yes.

"What's wrong?" asked Sally.

Mrs. Brown told Sally to talk to her.

"Oh. I see."

Sally walked over to her mother to see her packed up and ready to go.

"Why are you going to hospital, Mom?" asked Sally.

Mrs. Brown said it's a surprise.

"A surprise? Will you bring anything back once you come home?" Sally added.

Mrs. Brown said she would.

"Really?! You mean it?!" Sally asked.

Mrs. Brown promised so.

"Yay!" Sally cheered.

Charlie Brown was still talking with his father about what would be happening in their absence.

"Is Grandma coming over to look after us while you're gone?" asked Charlie Brown.

Mr. Brown said no.

"Aw." Sighed Charlie Brown.

Mr. Brown got another idea.

"Yes?" said Charlie Brown.

Mr. Brown said somewhere his offspring could stay for a while until Mrs. Brown got out of the hospital.

"You mean it?! Alright!"

The two Brown siblings went upstairs together, but just before they could go to their respective rooms.....

"I get to stay....." Charlie Brown said.

"I'm going to become....." Sally said.

"We're lucky kids!" The two siblings said in unison.

"I get to stay at Heather's place!" Charlie Brown said excitedly.

"I'm gonna be a big sister!" Sally cheered.

"You're gonna be a big sister, Sally?! You mean.....?!"

"That's right, Big Brother!" Sally said excitedly. "You're getting another sibling!"

"Another sibling?! Wow!" Charlie Brown exclaimed.

Charlie and Sally Brown had both packed their suitcases and sleeping bags, but before he could go, Charlie Brown went over to Snoopy's doghouse.
