+~Little Nightmares~+ Caine x Reader Oneshot

Caine.......

I lost it. I started crying, sobbing and shouting, til someone could hopefully find me and take me somewhere safe...

I wasn't going to escape...

The voices started saying...
"Y/n.."

"Y/n.."

"Y/n.."

"Y/n!"

The sound of a slap could be heard echoing throughout my room as familier yellow-textured glove hit by face. Jolting awake with sweat covering my face I turned to see Jax had annoyingly entered my room and slapped me awake from the nightmare. His face was unbearable to see as he started laughing really hard, to the point he started crying slightly.
"Oww, what was that for Jax!" I shouted at his humor-induced body, roaring with laughter.
"Hahahahaha I'm sorry it was just so tempting" Jax said finishing off his laughing fit. He started wiping his eyes from the tears that broke from his yellow eyes.
"Besides, you weren't waking up as I was shouting for you so only gives me a real good excuse to slap your face" He said with a wide grin.
I just gave him a death glare.
"Anyways I came to wake you up for breakfast. I wouldn't be able to stand your annoying yapping about missing it, IF you missed breakfast."
I looked down in defeat and embarrassment.
He had a fair point. Breakfast IS one of my favourite meals of the day so missing out on it would ruin my time for sure.
As Jax started to walk out of my room and shut the door, I slowly got up from my bed. Man, nightmares can really make you feel groggy and petrified.

~~Time skip~~

Poking at my fried eggs and crippled bacon, I couldn't help but continue to think about the dream last night. All the whispers, voices and horrible words being said sounded so real.
Deep in thought, I overheard a conversation between Ragatha, Jax and Pomni. Usually I wouldn't barge into or overhear people's conversations but this sounded, well....juicy.

🔴"I heard some weird stuff going in outside my room last night. Did any of you guys hear anything?"

🟣"Eh, it was probably Kinger having his 'moments'. I usually hear him fumbling around in the hallway."

🔴"Odd. I didn't know Kinger does that, especially during the night. Is he okay?"

🟣"How should I know?"

🔵"I did hear that stuff outside my room last night. I checked outside and it looked like Caine was walking around for some reason. Then I swear I saw him go into what looked liked Y/n's room. But I'm not sure."

🔴"Wait WHAT?! Are you sure you saw that? Should we be concerned"

🟣"PPFFFTTTT no. She's the 'special child'. I'm sure she's used to it by now, getting all the special attention from Caine."

What?!
Caine was in my room last night? Whilst I was asleep!?"

You were suddenly provoked out of your train of thoughts when Pomni accidentally dropped her fork on the ground.
"Ah S#&+!" Said Pomni, hoping Caine wouldn't hear her, little word.
Unfortunately, she was wrong.

Suddenly out of the blue, Caine appeared behind her from out of nowhere. He looked rather upset and pouted slightly. You couldn't help but blush as his cuteness.
"Pomni! No foul language around here. You know better!" Caine saying the usual things how it's not appropriate for all ages and it's against the rules.
Pomni just rolled her eyes and continue to eat her breakfast.
As you did with yours. Then you noticed Caine turn his head slightly to look at you and admire. You couldn't help but blush.
