"Eve where's your cheese grader at?" Selena asked as she looked through the cabinets
"Look in the second one at the bottom it should be there"
Evelyn and Selena had been cooking since 9am this morning and it was just now 12pm. Since they've been cooking early they were hoping to start eating at about 2pm or 3pm.
"Girl you're about to pop" She said staring at Selena's stomach
"Don't remind me. I wish this baby would hurry up and come I'm trying to be on my hot girl summer stuff"
"No the fuck you not" VonTae said, walking in the kitchen with Andre behind him
"Nigga you a whole mother now, you gone be in the house taking care of my nephew" Andre added
"Um she can still be a mother and be outside at the same time" Evelyn joined in
"Not with my child in her. Ou lemme get some ham"
"Touch and I'll break your arm" Selena mugged Vontae and he slowly moved his hand
"Mannn' Vontae smacked his lips
Evelyn and Andre chuckled.
"That's them pregnancy hormones I was telling you about" Andre said
"Man you ain't tell me they was that bad"
"So y'all just gone talk about us while we right here?" Evelyn asked
"I could never talk about my beautiful wife" Andre said, placing a kiss on Evelyns cheek
"Mhm.. go check on our daughter"
"I just did she good. But bae we is kinda hungry that's exactly why we came in here"
"Eat a sandwich. There's bread and sandwich meat in there"
"We got some chips sis?" VonTae asked
"Nah you meant do WE got some chips" Andre said
"Shut up"
"Yes we got some chips brother. Look in the pantry it should be the small bags in there" Evelyn chuckled
"Bet"
"What time is Denise coming over?" Selena asked
"She should be over about 2pm. She also texted me and said she was bringing a special guest"
Selena raised her eyebrows "A special guest?"
"Same facial expression I made. But she said it's an surprise so I'm looking forward to meeting this surprise"
"Girl me too"
Selena and Evelyn continued to prepare for thanksgiving dinner while continuing to talk.

It was now 2pm and everybody at arrived at Evelyn house excpet Denise. All all the grownups were sitting on the couch drinking and catching up while the kids were in the playroom playing
"What time is Denise suppose to be here?" Andre asked
"She said she was coming at-"
Before Evelyn could finish her sentence the door bell rung getting everybody attention.
"I got it" Vontae said getting up
"Who do you think the surprise is?" Evelyn asked her husband
"I don't know but it looks like we about to find out"
