I stared out of the window blankly for what felt like hours, trying to make sense of what had just happened. Hope had finished drinking her bottle, which had vanished as soon as she had, and was now playing with my hair, but I barely even noticed.

How was this possible? Obviously, I believed in the Multiverse Theory, but I had never even imagined...

I sat in denial, thinking of all the people I had left behind... Marcel, The Mikaelsons, My Sweet Davina, Hayley, the sister in everything but blood. Not only that, but now Hope was dragged into this too. What if something happened to her?

I sighed and looked at the little bundle of joy in my arms. She whined softly and placed her hand on my cheek, as if sensing my emotions and trying to calm me down. I smiled at the contact before steely determination crossed my eyes. What had happened had happened, moping around about it wasn't going to make it any better. For now, I needed to explore this new living space, find out what point of the series I was in and decide whether or not to involve myself in the plot or not. After all, there were a number of flaws in the script and it would occupy me with something to do while I was here.

I didn't want to feel like I was being selfish, but I felt slightly excited being here. This gave me a whole fresh start, away from the craziness of New Orleans. And I knew I could protect Hope, once I really thought about it. The witches of New Orleans and pretty much everywhere else weren't scared of me for nothing.. well, except Davina and maybe Bonnie, but yeah, you get the idea. I smirked at that thought.

A loud rumble broke of my train of schemes. I rubbed my stomach subconsciously. Right, I needed to get some food in me before I could begin doing anything...and also explore this new place.

I stood up and walked out of the room, Hope still in my arms. A small hallway met my eyes. The wallpaper was patterned with pastel green and cream designs, exuding a regal demeanour, no matter how small the area was. Five other doors lined the space, before giving way to a staircase going downstairs. I opened each and every one of them. Three were bare bedrooms, probably spares, while one was set up to be a nursery, with the walls patterned with animals and figurines. A small white crib was in the middle, surrounded by toys on the floor and a wooden rocking chair in the corner. I smiled wistfully. It reminded me of the nursery in the Mikaelson Compound. The other was a bathroom.

I went downstairs to find a kitchen, a living room, a utility room, and an office-sort of place. I internally whistled, quite good for a 1900s home. I searched the kitchen before growling in frustration. There was literally no food! Now I would have to go out to the market and buy some. Did I even have money? What the hell would I wear?

I went upstairs to search for any clothes in my bedroom, and thankfully found 4 sets of blouses and skirts, with 2 pairs of shoes. There were also a couple of face masks in there, which confused me until I realised their purpose. Still, I would definitely have to go shopping later. This simply wasn't gonna last. I also found a couple packs of nappies for Hope, which I was grateful for since she was starting to smell.

While hunting through everything, I accidentally hit the back of the wall the wardrobe was attached to, which suddenly broke open to reveal a considerable amount of space filled with a few piles of cash and coins. Thank God. At least I wouldn't have to shoplift. Then, thinking about it, I went to Hope's nursery and hunted through the small wardrobe there in the corner. There were even a couple cute baby clothes in there! I looked up to the ceiling and thanked whoever sent me here for not only giving me a place to stay, but clothes for me and Hope, even if I would want more later, along with enough money to last a couple of days. It was better than nothing! I still needed to find a job though, but we'll get to those matters later.
