Chapter 1- movie night

It was roughly around 8 PM and Robert decided  that they should watch a Christmas film , with it being less 'scary' or whatever but oh was Robert wrong ,Aaron still had this guilt about leaving Liv with Gordon and Sandra,  and Robert was determined to not let Aaron get in that mind set "babe?" Robert spoked in a quiet kind tone "Yeah?" Aaron quizzed "want to watch a film" Robert asked "Uh why not" Aaron responded, Robert picked the film while Aaron got the blankets and pillows down. Robert picked a Christmas film, it was January all right but anything to pass time and distract Aaron

 

 They were about halfway through the film when something triggered Aaron,   "ROBERT TURN IT OFF " Aaron shouts "alright Aaron, Whats up “  Robert asked at this point Aaron was rocking himself back and forth "it reminds me of Gordon that's all" Aaron whispered "I-I'm sorry" Aaron cried while covering his face with his hands, that's what Aaron was used to so it's what he does now Aaron flinched when Robert got close "Hey...It's me I'm not going to hurt you" Robert spoke slow to make sure Aaron herd what was being said moving back and putting his hands up towards his face , It took Aaron a while to fully calm down and fall asleep , what really helped was being able to talk, Robert let him talk when he waned and say what he wanted , both Aaron and Rob fell asleep on the couch snuggled up

 

Aaron woke up first, but for the first time in a while it wasn't because of a nightmare it was because it was a text message in the family group chat 'Aaron I hope you ok and you can talk to us when you like' it was A text message from Paddy, Aaron's always had paddy saved under 'dad' it seemed right at the time being aged 18 and he was his  dad, but now Gordon showed up Aaron  didn’t have him as 'dad' he just has it under Paddy but after today Aaron think he  will be change it back paddy's always been his 'dad' anyway

 

 "Rob?" Aaron asked,  "Yeah?"  Robert quizzed back "I was thinking of telling Paddy and ma Mum today"  Aaron answered "Oh that's great A"  Robert started trying to reassure Aaron "But Rob can you be there I know Mum and Paddy aren't your biggest fans but please?" Aaron asked, Robert had become his safety-blanket  "Yeah For you A I will and I'll try Aaron" Robert answered, he’d do anything for Aaron, and to make sure he was comfortable  "Thank you it means a lot"  Aaron stated, and it did, it meant everything to Aaron "I-I love you Aaron I'd do anything for you" Robert whispered "Y-Y -you really mean that?" Aaron asked unsurely "yes Aaron I do" Robert stated, he knew Aaron had a hard time believing him from what he said at the scrap-yard but he too was hurting, "hug?" Aaron Asked "Yup I think you deserve a hug" Robert spoke in a low calm voice careful not to spook Aaron it was something Robert was used to, watching to see how Aaron would react to different tones of voices and what ones he reacted calm to

 

 "When do you want to tell 'em?" Robert asked breaking the silence "Umm around 11 or 12 " Aaron said his voice unsure though "yeah that's fine " Robert spoke trying to reassure Aaron something he's got used to doing over the past few months  ''Right why don't you go and freshen up.... It might make you feel better" Robert asked, he had to be careful of what words he chose, "Yeah ok Rob '' Aaron responded he sounded very sad "Hey you ok? Wait no that's a stupid question " Robert asked rambling "I'm fine" Aaron said "Aaron?" Robert question "I better go fresh up or I won't be telling ma mam and dad " and with that Aaron wallked of "Did he just call paddy his dad?" Robert whispered out loud, but loud enough for Aaron to hear "Yup!" Aaron shouted down. That made Robert laugh, It was good Aaron could laugh and joke about it "OI ROBERT GET CHANGED BUT NO OF THAT FANCY TAT YOU WEAR" Aaron shouted down, the stairs of Vic and Adam's house making Robert roll his eyes and chuckel Aaron was used to showering at there's Adam even resorted to giving Aaron a spare key  Robert found it quite funny in fact

 

Aaron made his way down the stairs at the same time the phone rang, it was something Aaron knew but it made him jump and scared him "Aaron?" Robert questioned "Uh it's fine, I'm fine" Aaron responded in a harsh tone , it took him a while to respond "Sorry" Aaron said right after and started crying "Hey... It's ok " Rob grabbed Aaron and pulled him into a huge bone crushing hug "Right... 10 minutes and well go yeah" Robert started snapping Aaron out of his thoughts  "Yeah I need to text D-Paddy first and get him to come to the woolpack... Think you could tell Vic and Diane to stay Out the back room Rob?" Aaron Asked " Yeah sure"  'Paddy can you come over to the woolpack I need to speak to you and mum about something'  "And sent " Aaron said out loud "Rob I've just texted paddy to go to the woolpack and well mums already going to be there"  Aaron stated “Yeah that's ok I spoke to Vic and she said it's ok" Robert answered  "Thanks a lot Rob" Aaron whispered 

 

Aaron and Robert made there way to the woolpack "R-Robert.... I don't think I can do this... What if they don't believe me" Aaron stuttard out "They will believe you Aaron it's paddy and your Mum they love you and I belive you don't I " Robert said in a stern but kind voice he really wanted Aaron to believe him and trust him "Ok your right Rob" Aaron said "When am I not" Robert joked "God i wish I didn't boost your ego" Aaron laughed out "Right let's go" Robert spoke, he liked that Aaron could try and joke about things
