"He asked if he could have a day with you." I choked

'This feels so awkward now. And its finally not you who made it awkward.'

'Shut up. Lets just wait for him to speak up.'

"Your orders!" The beautiful waitress came with my order of (Your favorite drink) and with Sae's order

I smiled and thank the waitress but just as she was about to leave she spoke up

"Uhm.. may I have your autograph?"

"I dont give out autographs." Sae replied coldly

"I meant- from (Name) (Last name)."

"PFFTT-"

'HAHAHAHAHHAHANDJS- I CANT-'

Sae's ego dropped a bit after that interaction. He then stayed quiet

"Here ya go~ would you like a picture too?" I was looking my absolute best today. No more of that Blue Lock uniform (outfit of your choice)

"Yes please!" She smiled and took out her phone and quickly snatched a photo of me

She then left me and Sae now... it feels way more awkward now.

'STOP IM GOING TO LAUGH AGAIN-'

'HIS EGOS SHATTERED HAHAHAH-'

I covered my mouth to muffle the laughs that were about to spill

"Alright thats enough." Sae face palmed

"So- what was the reason you wanted to meet me again?" I took a sip of my drink

He seemed hesitated to speak "I.. want to know about you more."

I almost choked on my drink "Huuh? Whats up? Suddenly interested in me?"

"Well.. yes. I've seen some of your lukewarm replays in Ego's office."

'So lukewarm insult runs in the family?'

'Meeh shouldve went for a more better word than lukewarm.'

"Mhm? So?"

"Your playstyle changes so much. Once youre a midfielder and next you are an egoistic striker." He stared at me, seemingly staring at my left eye

(I geniuely forgot which side of the eye is red so I guess its now left eye lol)

"Well.." I started

"Does this red eye have anything to do with this?" I blinked

'CHAT HES ONTO US.'

'Play along.'

"Hm. I dont think it does." I shrugged

"Theres no records of you being heterochromic." My face dropped

'IS THIS GUY SERIOUS.'

'That sounds creepy.'

I coughed "Im using colored contacts. It looks cool."

'THATS THE LAMEST EXCUSE-'

'WHAT ELSE DO I SAY TO COVER UP A RED EYE??'

"Your lies are lukewarm. Spill it out (Name)." Sae sighed

"Well uh soo..."

'Do I just tell him or come up with more bullshit??'

'I dont know-- last time this happenned, Ego predicted who I am and we didnt even get to spill out a single defense.'

'HES OUR OPPONENT TOO IN OUR U-20 MATCH I AINT LETTING HIM KNOW ABOUT THIS-'

"How about I tell you about it after the U-20 match we have? I wont spill it out until the match ends." My entire body was sweatin. Hes onto my ass.

"Hmph. Fine." Sae dismissed the topic, for now

'I shall finally move countries after the U-20 match finishes.'

"So why are we here?" I looked at the trees filled with autumn leaves

"They told me autumn is the most beautiful season in Japan." Sae was walking beside me, we were walking along a path with loads of trees covered in green, red, yellow, and orange colors.

"Thats not too far off. I personally like the spring season. Eh? Not looking down on Japan anymore?"

"Of course I am. I just.. needed to see if this shitty place even is worth stepping foot on." Sae crossed his arms

I blinked "And you decide to take me with you?"

"Well... I just wanted an excuse to spend time with you.

If Im correct, the time the U-20 match starts is early december, Sae turns 18 after the second second selection meaning its October 10 at that time and third selection Im guessing it took like a week so it should be autumn season at this point of the plot (nerd emoji)

Correct me if I am wrong
