The one with the Christmas magic

The bartender turns around and starts preparing the hot chocolates like the young girl asked for. After some time the bartender turns around again with two cups in hand. "It's $10, please."

The young girl hands the money to the bartender and grabs the hot chocolates. She turns around and makes a gesture to the brunette girl seat at a table. "Are you ready to see the magic?"

"If I say no, you will do it anyway," the brunette girl says, rolling her eyes

"That is right," she replies, making a gesture above the cup of hot chocolates and making the marshmallows turn into small snowmen swimming in the hot chocolate. "Do you see the snowmen?"

"All I saw was a crazy woman making a gesture in the air as if she had powers," she rudely says.

"Oh I see, it will be hard to make you believe in the magic of this amazing day."

"Yeah because there is no such thing as magic," she said, getting up from the chair.

"Please, give me a chance. I can prove to you that the Christmas magic exists, you just have to-"

"No thank you. It was nice to meet you," Jenna cuts off Y/N and leaves the coffee house.

Y/N got sad, making the marshmallows snowmen and getting back to being ordinary marshmallows. Who would say that with simple words the Christmas magic would vanish from Y/N's heart?

It was finally Christmas day, everyone was in their homes opening the presents that were underneath the Christmas tree.

Everyone except two girls: Y/N and Jenna. They were at the same Avenue they were 5 days ago, the same Avenue where Jenna made Y/N stop believing in the Christmas magic.

Jenna stopped her track once she saw, in the middle of the street, Y/N walking. Except she wasn't walking like she normally walks, she wasn't spreading magic through the air. She was only an ordinary person walking on Christmas day.

Jenna didn't want to admit but she did get sad after finding the y/h/c girl walking in the street with everything except enthusiasm. Jenna decided to talk to the young girl.

"Hey," Jenna said.

"Oh, hey," Y/N replies with a fake smile on her face.

"I'm so sorry for being rude," Jenna proceeds.

"No, no. You are right. There is no such thing as magic," the young girl says.

"Look, I don't believe in Christmas because my mom died one day before Christmas when I was 7," Jenna spoke. "Since then I hate everything and everyone related to Christmas."

"I'm so sorry about that. I had no idea."

"Don't say sorry, it's not your fault," Jenna says, grabbing the y/h/c girl's hand. "Are you willing to make me believe in the Christmas magic again?"

"Wait, seriously?"

"Yes."

"Okay, all the stores are closed today, but I think I got an idea," Y/N says with enthusiasm, grabbing Jenna's hand just like she did 5 days ago and starting to run through 5th Avenue.
