As the annual school ball approached, I couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement. It was the perfect opportunity to confess my feelings to Ryker. I spent hours picking out the perfect dress and rehearsing what I would say.

When the night finally arrived, I took a deep breath and approached Ryker, who was standing near the refreshment table. He looked dashing in his suit, and my heart skipped a beat as I caught his eye.

"Ryker, there's something I need to tell you," I said, my voice trembling slightly. "I've fallen for you, and I can't keep it to myself any longer."
