Y/N POV:

"What an honour getting to serve a high ranking conkubine" The brunette adored while slightly whinning

"Yeah, living the dreams..." I sarcastically said while Maomao, her friend and I left the
room with our hands carrying a basket with a cloth over it whilst we walked

But just as we got out of the room we saw... Jinshi.

'Not him!!' I whined inside my head as I slightly took steps back
even though I am more then 3 feet away from the male

All the girls around him starting adoring and admiring his beauty....

'Why do they care so much about beauty? What ever...'

Jinshi must've noticed our presence because he looked behind his back
and saw us, but as he did this I just flinch and hid behind Maomao glaring daggers at the male

"Hm? Oh its you two. Ready to move apothecarys?" He smiled as I just seperated from them all probably
2-3 feet away not wanting to be near a male I hardly know.

Everyone saw this and slightly sweat dropped at this. Except for Maomao since she's used to that and knows why I do it.

"Well yes, we were just on our way to the jade pervillian soon, unless you need to ask us something first?" I nod
in agreement as I continued glaring at him

"No nothing at all." I closed my eyes in relief and smile as I just went back to Maomao hiding behind her now.

Until realisation hit me like a struck of lightening

"Wait , I'm confused if you're not here t-" I was interuppted as he touched my hair (if you wear a hijab
or are bald then just stick with patted your head)

I flinch and stay there stunned like a person who's been left frozen to death in iceland

All the girls behind him gasp and look like they are wanting him to touch their hair too

"I am positive that you two will serve Kyokuyou well." He smiled looking down at me as I just jump back getting
away from his touch

"Don't do that!" I yelled sending him yet another glare as I rushed off dragging Maomao with me
with an anger written all over my face

"Best of luck Y/n and Maomao!" The brunette said as we continued walking.
I just give her a thumbs up

"Eugh! So gross and disgusting!" I whined as we were now in a great distance from them all

"I'm glad he didn't do that to me that is." Maomao didn't care as we continued walking till we reached the jade perviallian

"I take it that you are Maomao and Y/n"

I nod to the pretty lady whilst still holding the basket

" I am Huwang the head lady in waiting, it's so good to meet the both of you. Since you
two are new, I will show you around the pervillian, this way."

"Yes" We  say in sync as we followed Huwang up the stairs and into a room
which was Lady Gyoku's room

"Welcome to the Jade pervillian, I've been waiting for the both of you." She was holding
her precious child with a bright smile.

"Xiaoling is glad to see you two too, we're pleased to have you around." She looked at her baby then us again

'The baby is so CUTEEEEE <3' I couldn't help by have a face that showed adoration
for the baby, but then me and Maomao bow our own heads
