Rick's POV.
I was in my cell in prison and I was cleaning my gun while Beth was taking care of baby Judith. I couldn't look at Judith. She looked like Lori. I heard the cell door open and I looked up and saw Y/N
She made me feel different since I met her in Atlanta. "Rick? Are you okay?" she asks and she sat beside me. I nod and look back down at my gun. I always lose my words around her. "Okay, well, of you are, Daryl and me are going out on a run." she said. "If you need anything, tell me before we leave." she said, kissing my cheek and she got up and left
I smile slightly. It was the first time I smiled since Lori's death. The thought made me tear up and I look down, putting the gun beside me.
A few hours later. I was in the parts of the prison that were overun my walkers and I was killing walkers, feeling pent up with rage. I slash a walkers head open with my machete and I shoot another one in the head. After I killed all of them, I sit down against the wall.
I lean my head back and let out a deep breath. I hear a voice. "Rick..." I look around and I see Lori, standing there in a white dress. "Rick." she says and I slowly stand up, walking over to her. "L-lori?"I said and reached out to touch her. My hand reaches to her face...
I wake up, covered in a thin layer of sweat. I feel movement beside me and I turn and see Y/N asleep beside me. I was breathing heavily and I wipe the sweat off me. "Rick?" I heard and I swing my hear around and realize Y/N called me. "Huh?" I said. She sits up and looks at me, concerned. "Are you okay?" she said and I nodded. "You're lying. You had a nightmare about her, didn't you?" she asked and I look away. "Yeah..." I said. She hugs me
I freeze and I hug her back tightly. I stuff my face in her hair. Tears well up in my eyes and I start crying. She rubs my back. "I just miss her."I said, sobbing in her hair. "I know, I know..." she said softly. "We all miss her, but you have to stay strong for Carl, Judith, and everyone else." she said
"You have to stay strong for me."
