MICHELLE'S POINT OF VIEW

The weekend getaway at the resort was off to a fantastic start. Anntonia and I had just arrived, and the excitement in the air was palpable. After checking in, we made our way to our room. I suggested booking two rooms, anticipating the need for personal space, but Anntonia insisted on sharing one.

As we settled into the cozy room, Anntonia excused herself for a moment. This was my chance to set up a little surprise—a beachside dinner under the stars. I couldn't wait to share my feelings with her, and I had a small velvet box in my pocket, containing a ring that I hoped would signify the beginning of something beautiful.

The sun was beginning to set as I arranged candles and laid out a blanket on the beach. The waves gently lapped at the shore, creating a serene backdrop for what I hoped would be a memorable evening.

When everything was ready, I texted Anntonia, "Meet me at the beach. I have a surprise for you."

I smiled, genuinely pleased by her reaction. "I'm glad you like it. Let's have dinner by the beach. It's a special evening, and I wanted it to be perfect."

We sat down on the blanket, and I unveiled a selection of delicious dishes I had arranged. As we enjoyed the meal, the conversation flowed easily between us. Anntonia looked at me, her eyes reflecting the warmth of the candlelight.

I took a deep breath, my heart pounding with a mix of nerves and excitement. "Anntonia, there's something I want to share with you. Her eyes met mine, and I could see a range of emotions flickering within them. I reached into my pocket, retrieving the small velvet box. Opening it, I revealed the ring nestled inside.

"I got this for you," I said, my voice sincere. "Anntonia, will you allow me to court you, to show you how much you mean to me?"

Her eyes welled up with emotion, and a wide smile spread across her face. "Michelle, I... I don't know what to say."

I took her hand gently, placing the ring on her finger. "You don't have to say anything right now. Just know that I care about you deeply, and I want to be a part of your life in a meaningful way."

Anntonia looked at the ring on her finger, then back at me. "Michelle, this is unexpected, but I appreciate your honesty and sincerity. Let's take this journey together and see where it leads us."

Relief and joy flooded through me. "Thank you, Anntonia. I promise to make every moment special for you."
