No system yet devised that enabled fans of the series of "Classroom of the elite" to put themselves into situations similar than that of the series, they wandered about in the server of Royal MTLS, a server translating cote year 2 onwards. I would assume that PrinceYG got the idea from Citrus Pollo after he suggested it to create a system similar to that of the one that resides within "Classroom of the Elite", the series but instead to use character factions instead of classes. Class points were also replaced by Faction points. It would seem it officially started on the 8th of November, 2022.

At the start, leaders/"Overseers" were picked from each faction to lead their faction according to an election that lasted 42 hours in each faction. The character factions and their leaders at the start of FOTE have been given:

In addition to this, Citrus Pollo suggested moderation and designs for a concept of a "shop". Prince seemed to like the idea and gave the project to Pollo, whom Ichisamui had scouted as the perfect candidate to oversee the team in charge of setting up FOTE. It would seem Ichisamui rigged the vote in his favour when the more popular, CalmSimp, currently a moderator at RoyalMTLS, was winning.

Citrus Pollo took Ichisamui and Tangible, a former moderator of RoyalMTLS to help with the project. Citrus Pollo's deadline was January because they were learning code gradually and It would've been way too late. As such, a basic design was pushed out without alot of complications to first be put into place. At the time, Arisu faction had chosen to exile Nino,currently former student council member, after he made fake screenshot to defame TC.j,another FOTE member.

He seems to have caused mischieve and was looking for a way to return to FOTE. It was fortunate that his coding was more than adequate to code the concept of FOTE as Citrus Pollo had envisioned and had it ready around roughly a week. Ichisamui states he did this while being drunk half the time. The mentioned people were given a choice to join the student council but only Tangible and CalmSimp accepted this appointment. This was, I believe after the initial system of FOTE had been established. People were starting to see the potential, and this became a great cause for excitement.
