As she laid on the floor, staring up at the ceiling Esmeralda could not help but to start to cry silently. 'Look at you. Such a mess you are.' She mockingly thought to herself. Silently she wondered how she always allowed her mother to ruin her day.
Deciding that crying would not help, she decided to just donate a million dollars towards an organisation that helped people in need. She picked her laptop that stood on the table and logged into it, opening google and typing in the name of the organisation she knew would actually send the money to the people that needed it.
Realising that she needed her phone to confirm the payment, Esmeralda stood up with a sigh as she walked to the corner where her phone had ended up. Picking it up she quickly unlocked it with her thumb so she could enter her bank's app to confirm the donation.
Her phone had too many messages rolling in but one notification stood out to her. Sitting down on the floor she looked at what the notification said.

Clicking on the notification, her phone slowly redirected her to the DMs between her and Tom.

I was at a bookstore earlier today and saw one of the books you were looking at yesterday when you were shopping for groceries and books😊
I thought about buying it since it must have been a good one if you wanted to buy it

Esmeralda could feel herself smile as she read the messages Tom had sent her. It was different from the other 250 messages she had received from her acquaintances and close people. Perhaps, another meeting with him would help her calm down from this chaos that is currently going on. Another meeting before she has to ruin it all.

She went onto Safari as she searched for movies that were shown tonight at the cinemas. She knew that Tom resided in Brooklyn, after one of his fans corrected her in one of her comment sections stating that she was wrong in saying he was stuck in NYC, therefore she considered picking a cinema that was located closer to Brooklyn. However, a selfish part of Esmeralda wanted her to pick one that was further away from Brooklyn just so she could invite him over to her hotel room to have a normal sleep over with pyjamas and snacks while talking about everything to nothing. But, considering the state her room was in, she certainly could not do that.
