The next day,she woke up to her alarm for 6am.she forced herself to stand up despite the pain she felt in her body and the headache .she put put on a white long sleeve crop and a jean trouser using a belt to tighten it to her waist well.she applied a pink lipstisck which suit her lip colour quite well she take a small black bag inputting a pepper spray, a pocket knife,her fully charged phone,a pen money and her lipstisck. Done with that it was already 7:13am.she make her way to the kitchen to have a light breakfast and go to work only to discover ivy in the kitchen already dressed for work and eating pasta.
"Good morning,ivy"she said
Ivy replied an inaudible response due to her mouth been filled
"where is my pasta"
Ivy pointed toward a pot
She took small ate it hurrily saying her goodbye and finding her way to the bus station.she got to work just thirty minutes to her work time taking over at the reception, smiling and greeting everyone coming .The time for her to leave was already near but she volunteer to cover up for the person to take over at 9pm knowing fully well that does two men will be waiting for her,she then proceed to text ivy
At 11pm the boss came down to their branch to discuss business,so the whole office was at mess trying to impress the boss.
She was given the Job to welcome the boss, so she reapplied her lipstisck and straightened her cloth.from the noise she could tell he was here , so left behind the receptionist desk to welcome him
"welcome to LOES and hope you have a nice day"she said smiling only to discover the boss is a cute, young, handsome guy.
With the way he eye her and his wide smile,one could notice he likes her
"you are?"he asked
"annabella"she replied smiling
"so, what is your work here"
"i am the receptionist on desk"
"hmmm,interesting"he turn toward the manager
"i request she is by my side till I leave"
"yes,sir"
"you heard him, let's go".
So she stick with him still it was time to leave around 1am and she was tired from walking about that she zoomed out until he said
"can I see miss Annabella privately"he asked shocking everyone and her self
"sure"she replied
So they left the class and moved toward and empty storage room
"you look tired,for how long have you been here"
"since morning"she replied
"I thought I pay for the receptionist to be interchanged"he asked
"i am covering up for someone"
"did they threatened you"he asked worried
"no,no,no don't get me wrong,I did it willingly"she said hurryly
"ooh,so around what time are you always here"he asked
"my work time is 9am-9pm"
"okay, don't worry I will look into it for you"he said placing his hand affectionately on her cheek making her feel at peace
"you have a boyfriend"he ask worrily
"no"she said looking into is his eye and seeing the relieve in them
"i may not come tomorrow to see you, but I promise I will come later,okay"
She nod her head obediently as he withdraw his hand
"go get your bag and the rest let me drop you off at home"he said
They left the building hand in hand with him looking affectionately at her and her looking towards the two men looking her way
