The year is 2000, October the 10th in Pruyport Wisconsin. People are living in unease as a serial killer/killers runs rampant in the downtown area, the press calls them the 'Pruyport Terror'. The killer has claimed 6 seemingly random people during the 5 years of his murder spree. On this case is a man named Damian Peterson.
Damian joined the police force about 5 years before the murders begun in 1995. Damian is well known for being the longest member on the case of the Pruyport Terror murders. The town has recognized Damian's contributions to making the downtown part safer for everyone. Including more cameras, creating PSA's and working with broadcasting people, going to schools and educating children about stranger danger in the event a child was a victim
September the 17th, 1999 a body was found and a message was left that cleared some questions regarding the murders. On the body of a randomly stabbed man, was a typed note, no fingerprints on the body or the note was found. The note explained that there was no connections between the people killed. Another thing said is that he will not attack children, stating that grown adults are fair game. They also have stated that they believe the elderly should be protected just like the children. Cementing the first critical modus operandi for the Pruyport Terror, people between the ages of 18-50 as he stated this age was fair game.
During the wake of this incident, the local newspaper station has been heavily on the topic. Head journalist Troy Collins has been the one credited with keeping the city aware. Troy Collins has been known to stroll downtown at night to get a better view of the environment the killings was taking place after dark in the city of Pruyport. Risking being attacked by the Pruyport Terror themself/selves just to get a better understanding of the area so he can more easily write his papers for the people.
Currently there are no suspects at hand for being the Pruyport Terror as every other previously investigated suspect drew up no conclusions to the case for both Troy Collins, Damian Peterson, The press and the PPD. Every person covering or investigating the case is baffled from the seemingly lack of reason or connection between the 6 victims of the Pruyport Terror. The murderer/murderers has been specifically named 'Terror' due to their modus operandi of randomly going after anyone between the ages 18-50.
Near both the Ametur newspaper company building and the PPD building, there is a simple, cute and harmless flower shop. This shop is ran by a family of Florists, Michael Denholm, Samantha Denholm, and their son, Jonathan Denholm. A family of kind florists that people adore to be around and buy flowers from.
Recently the florist shop has been sponsoring the police department. Giving money, free flowers, free coffee, free desserts, and even having the employees help out with certain things that are non-police related such as janitorial work and decorating. Making the PPD building seem more nicer.
This florist shop also collaborates with the Nearby and Local newspaper company. Troy Collins having done a paper on the little comfy and inviting floral shop while also helping their secondary cafe store thats interconnected to the floral store.
There also was a paper done by Troy Collins done on the cafe opened in the same building. The father Michael Denholm expresses his love for all things coffee and sweets in the cafe. Offering a wide array of drinks and desserts.
For the Floral shop, it is primarily ran by the mother, Samantha Denholm as she expresses her passion for specially curated beautiful flowers, individual or banquets of them. The floral store also has a small collection of cards and chocolates to be bought along side the banquets.
The papers Troy Collins wrote also have noted that Johnathan Denholm assists both Michael and Samantha Denholm in their store troubles. Though it has been noticed by the paper that between all three of them, Johnathan simply feels strange, off putting with his demeanor but kind like his parents none-the-less.
The people of Pruyport enjoy reading Troy Collin's work, they feel safe due to the work of Damian Peterson. they find joy and happiness with the workings of Johnathan Denholm and his parents, though the fear and unease caused by the Pruyport Terror is still present in the town despite all this.
The day is quiet and chilly for the season, a gray sky filled with clouds as leaves blow across the streets with the cold breeze of autumn. Gentle rain droplets hitting the ground as the people of Pruyport go on about their day. People walking, cars driving, businesses opening as the sun rises over the horizon. Basking the city in the sunshine that wakes it's people up and gets them ready for the morning, their day, and their lives
