i actually don't know how to write my jon snow fic lol????? like especially the first chapter. 😭

i have more ideas for chapter 2 onwards, i'm just struggling sm with this first chapter

chapter 1 introduces elia & her place in the watch before jon arrives,,,, but it's just kinda boring 😭😭😭

i might try and make it a prologue & have chapter 1 be jon's pov, since his reaction to athen is so important for act 1.

i hate first chapters 💀

& i'm struggling with chapter 5 of evenstar LMFAO i have good plans, i just dk how i want to start it.

chapter 6 will be even worse bc like wonderland chapter 7, it's just filler. the evenstar chapter introduces an important character and bridges the gap between alana & elia. it will have some okay worldbuilding and character stuff for alana,,,, but so far it's just one scene that i can't fit anywhere else.

guys writing episodically with time jumps is so hard 💀

i'd cut chapter 6 all together,,, but then i think through jump between the current chapters 5 & 7 is too much?? i also really want 10 chapters in act 1 lol. help me wjdjajajqjq.
