"Why are you so sassy this morning?" Christiana groaned throwing her head up "I want to wear my shoes" Jesse mumbled also groaning
"You know I'm still here right?" Brian spoke up pulling Christiana's attention away from the child "Oh shit sorry" She spoke up stepping out of the way so Brian could walk in
"Mom that was a bad word"
"I know Jesse I'm sorry"
When Christiana closed the door and turned around she saw Jesse and Brian staring at each other here we go she thought to herself before walking to her soon squatting down to look him in the eyes
"You remember the talk we had about your dad?" Christiana whispered rubbing jesses shoulders "Yeah he has a very important job" Jesse announced nodding his head
"Alright well Dad got a break from his job...you see that guy behind me?"Christiana asked pointing behind her to Brian making Jesse nod again
"That's your dad" Christiana whispered into the young boy's ear before standing up and walking to the side of the room "Hey buddy" Brian smiled softly walking to the boy "You're my dad?" Jesse asked squinting his eyes at the man
"Yeah I am" Brian answered nodding his head "I'm Jesse" Jesse introduced himself making Brian smile "I know I also know you like cars I got a surprise for you" Brian revealed making Jesses eyes go wide
"Really!?"
"Yeah it's outside" The blue-eyed man announced standing up and extending his hand out in hopes Jesse would take it when he did the smile that was stuck on Brian's face got wider
The two walked out of the house with Christiana a few steps behind outside the three saw the car that Brian and Christiana spent time fixing
"It's my car! Mom look it's my car!" Jesses exclaimed looking at Brian's Nissan skyline "It's cool isn't it?" Christiana chuckled watching the boy whose eyes lit up with joy
"Yeah, it's so cool! Can we ride in it?"
"Jesse you have to go to school" Christiana reminded the boy "Can we go to school in this car?"Jesse asked tilting his head at his mother
"Yeah, can we?"Brian piped up making Christiana whip her head in his direction "Which one of you are the child?" Christiana laughed
"Come on Mom pleaseee" Jesse begged dragging the "e" in please "Yeah come on Mom please"Brian added mocking the child's action "Fine but you need to change your shoes first" Christiana groaned giving in to her son
