While I made the no-bake cookies, my boyfriends jammed themselves into my tiny apartment. Lucian marveled at the size of it while Leonello looked around at my behest. Jamar leaned on the wall by my kitchenette, almost filling up the doorway despite not leaning into it.

"Can I have a taste?"

I used a clean spoon and gave Jamar a bit of the hot mixture, so he happily chewed the rolled oats with sweetened dark chocolate and silky peanut butter. He quietly groaned about the taste while I pulled the saucepan off the electric double burner and put it onto a hot plate. I grabbed my small cookie sheets and prepared them with parchment paper within a minute, but I caught Jamar taking another bite as I turned around.

He looked sheepish, but I laughed and leaned into his chest for a moment. I heard Leonello ask Jamar a question, so the latter left my side. But Lucian took his place to watch what was happening up close.

"Hi, Lu." I said happily, looking up at him. "Kiss, please?"

Lucian immediately bent over to meet my lips, then he hugged my waist while I used a tablespoon to scoop the no-bake cookies onto the prepared sheet pans. I giggled when he tickled my sides.

"Baby berry, you're so cute. I absolutely adore your sweet self."

My cheeks turned red, but my entire face started to burn when he nuzzled my jawline and marveled at my smoothness. I do have almost invisible peach fuzz, but I really don't need to shave. Lucian was verbal in his curiosity about my lower half, so I was pouting until he quietly apologized for being so naughty while I was busy.

"It's okay, Lu. I'm just not used to anything like this, so please be patient with me."

Lucian rested his chin on my head. "Baby berry, are we your firsts?"

A lump formed in my throat. "Um, yes, for a relationship."

"Have you kissed someone before us?" he whispered in my left ear, his lips brushing my skin as I shivered.

"Sort of," I replied quietly, my hands shaking. I did my best to breathe through the anxiety welling up inside me. "But I didn't really..."

"Really what, my little berry? Did that person force you?"

"N-no," I quickly denied, continuing to form the misshapen cookies on the sheets. "It's not like that, I promise. I just thought I liked the guy, but I was wrong. He got weird after one kiss, so I ended things with him."

"What guy? What do you mean by 'weird'?" pressed Leonello, leaning in the doorway next to us.

I noticed Jamar peering over Leonello's shoulder. Did he not know about that guy? I might not have told him since it happened right after graduating college and I was totally overwhelmed with everything going on.

"Ollie?"

I sucked in a deep breath and finished scraping out the pot, then filled it with water and set it on my counter. I turned around to look at my boyfriends, crossing my arms and ankles with a soft sigh on my lips.

"I met a guy at the coffee shop I worked at three years ago. He was sweet at first, always giving me compliments when he came in to get his morning dose of coffee."

"Uh-huh," murmured Jamar. "So, what changed?"

Jamar didn't look upset, just concerned. I felt a bit better after realizing that.

"He started spending more time in the shop during my shift, even having me sit with him during my break. The guy bought me any drink I wanted, so I figured it was a form of flirting since he seemed really invested in learning more about me. I asked if he liked me, but..."
