Chapter 1

A man was being held in an Elemental court for a severe crime.

Judge: Jack Fujin. You are being tried for the crime of mating with one of our enemies. A Viltrumite. How do you plea?

The lightning Elemental looked at the judge. Nothing but spite filled his face as he answered, his hands clenched into fists while in shackles. Green lightning crackled around him and the jury stood up for defense.

Jack: Our government has become no better than the Viltrum Empire. But there are some who appose this. I will not plea, for I have done nothing wrong. You can't win...

The sound of battleships began to fill the background.

Jack: My Titans will paint the sky crimson, they will destroy fleet. My son and his Viltrumite mother are on their way to a different planet.

The judge sneered and jestured for execution. Two guards got on either side of Jack...

When everything was said and done. Giants devastated an army of Elementals and a fleet of warships. An old adversary emerged to take over the planet.

Conquest: Enram. You ordered the execution of a father to a Viltrumite child. Not your call to make. We sent Lucille off world. Any last words.

The judge spit in the face of the old Viltrumite, and promptly got his head crushed.

Thrag: What of the Titans?

The old Viltrumite looked up at the now blood red sky.

Conquest: Beat Jaeger to a pulp. If he and his minions don't join, they will die.

Thrag left and Conquest smiled.

Conquest: Viltrumite rule can't be challenged.

Lucille, the mother of Jacks child, flew into the atmosphere. She flew to the house of someone she knows well.

Lucille knocked on the door. She looked at her son. Tears flooded her eyes and soon, the door opened.

Nolan: Lucille? Why are-...

Nolan looked at the child.

Nolan: I see. Come in.

Lucille walked inside and Nolan closed the door.

The two sat down on the couch. Lucille cradled her baby, wishing Jack was by her side.

Nolan: Debbie isn't here. Speak freely.

Lucille: The Empire tried to help Jack. But the tracker in his neck went dark...

Nolan knew what this meant and so did she.

Lucille: I was told to come here. John is here too?

Nolan: Yes. He's made quite the name for himself among these insignificant specks. Homelander. You don't need to worry. The Elementals won't harm your son.
