"Of course sir." She went to the other women who were whispering. They were looking at me. Great. She came back with a few sets. "These are some of our nicest pieces." She had a large necklace, 2 wrist "bangles" whatever those were, and a few earrings.

"Um, do you do ear piercings here too?" She looked at me, her smile wavering a bit.

"Yes, we do." Her smile returned. Price looked at me.

"No earrings either?"

"I had them but I would tug on them and I gave myself a lot of scratches so my parents just let it heal."

"OK then. What do you think about these pieces?" I looked at them. The necklace looked like it belonged in Egypt. The bangles were tacky. I could make them look the same with hot glue and some fake jewels. Plus the price was outrageous. I shook my head. "None?"

"None. May I look around for a while?"

"Knock yourself out." I walked to the necklaces. One was a very thin silver chain with a small pendant attached to it. It was simple yet it screamed wealthy

"Price," I called him over. I pointed at that necklace. He nodded.

"This one." He said.

"Are you sure? We have better pieces." The woman said.

"I think it's perfect." Ghost stepped behind me. His voice was rough against the mask. Against my 5'5 height, his 6'2 body towered over mine ina very intimidating way. She got the necklace out and placed it on the tray.

"Now bangles. Those are basically bracelets, right?"

"Yep." Price said. I walked over to some and found one. It wasn't as pretty as the necklace but it matched.

"This one too." She picked it up and placed it on the tray. "Earrings..." I walked around and looked for some emerald earrings. I found some. They dangled a bit but were beautiful. A word I never used lightly.

"And these." She picked them up.

"Is that all?" I looked at Price.

"That'll be all sweetheart." He said. She rang us up.

"Did you guys want the piercing?" Price glanced at me and then back to her.

"No thanks. I'd rather not have people who talk shit about my coworkers pierce her ears. Be glad I'm even buying from you." Wow. I didn't know he cared that much. After he paid and we walked around some more, getting food from the food court, we went back to base. I took my bags into my room with me and placed them underneath my bed. I got into some pajamas and went straight to bed.
