"Where's Felix?"
"Sir, he is downstairs in the basement with Katsumi." Mr. Song said
I gave him a nod and went to the basement. As I went there, I caught Katsumi glaring at Felix as if she wanted to kill him. He was just leaning on the wall while smoking his cigarette.
"Hey."
"You're here. What are your plans today?" he asked me
"Nothing to be exact. I was just about to go home-"
"Then you should stay here. I have a meeting with other investors. I can't trust anyone here, so you better watch her." Felix said
"What? Me? No! I don't want to babysit-"
"I'm not a baby! Are you stupid? Can't you see?! Can't you tell the difference between a baby and an adult like me?!" she shouted
"See? I can't stand hearing her scream all day." Felix
"But you can't leave her to me-"
"I can. I have to go." Felix said and left the basement
Fuck?!
"Let me go! Just untie these and I will take care of myself. I promise." she said and desperately looked at me
"I know I am nice but I'm not stupid enough to free you and get myself killed."
"I swear, I-" Katsumi
"I am Hwang Hyunjin. One of the trusted people of Felix who handles his business. At your service." I smirked
"I have no time to have an introduce yourself session here. I need to leave this place!" she shouted
"Katsumi, just wait a little longer. We just wanted your dad to die-"
"But he is already dead! What do you want me to do!? Bring him back to life!? And I am not Yu Katsumi! I know her! She is in the same class aa me! We don't look like each other. She is fucking crazy! I am poor. My dad is dead. My stepfather is hurting me as well as my mom! There's nothing you can get from me." she shouted angrily
"If you are not Katsumi, who are you then?"
"Moon Ahnjong. That's my name! So please let me go!" she shouted once again and moved aggressively
"Hey, you are going to hurt yourself."
"I don't care!" she shouted again
I sighed and took out my gun then pointed at her, "One move. I will shoot you."
She froze and her eyes were wide.
"What now? Are you going to move or not?"
"N-No. Who would move if you will point a gun at them?!" she shouted as she panicked
"Ah. Sorry. I just don't have any other way to shut you up." I said and hid my gun
She rolled her eyes.
"Don't worry. We don't shoot people but Felix can when he wanted to. So, you behave yourself or else you will be found dead."
She was quiet.
"If you are hungry tell me, I will ask them to bring you food-"
"I am." she said
"Okay? That fast? Ah! Maybe because you used up all your energy. That explains why."
"Just get me food." Katsumi said
"You are lucky you are pretty or else I wouldn't let you order me around."
"Well, fuck off." she rolled her eyes
I smiled and went upstairs. I just told the maid to get some food ready and ask the bodyguard to bring it downstairs.
I went to the basement and found her glaring at me as soon as she saw me, "What?"
"How am I supposed to eat? My hands were tied." she said
"Oh. Let me do it for you then."
"What?! No!" she shouted and looked away
"Okay. Either you eat and think of a way to escape or die because you don't want to eat."
"Just let me go!" she shouted
"No."
"Argh! Whatever!" Katsumi
I sat on the swivel chair and took out my phone. I scrolled my feed while waiting for her to decide what to do.
"Wow! Fuck. I am craving for some spicy ramen!" I shouted
She is still not talking.
"I think I should eat." I said and stood up
"Bring that with you-" Katsumi
"If you are not going to eat, then you won't be able to eat anything until you are here. Felix is strict. He don't offer anything to his hostage. You are lucky he asked me to be here. Decide now or what."
She raised her eyebrows and rolled her eyes.
"I will assume that you still don't want to eat. I'll bring this upstairs." I said and took the tray with me and was about to go-
"Wait!" she shouted
"Hmm?"
"I will eat." she whispered
"You what?"
"I said I will eat." she repeated in a small voice
"I can't hear anything-"
"I want to eat!" she shouted
I laughed with her expression, "Okay! Chill."
She rolled her eyes.
I sat down beside her and prepared the food. I started feeding her with a spoonful of rice with jiggae.
"Can you just take a small amount of rice?" she asked
"Why? I thought you're hungry-"
"I'm not! I just wanted to eat." she answered
Her tummy growl-
"Hahahaha okay!"
I continued feeding her.
"Ya. What are you doing? Who is that?" Chan asked as he entered the basement
"Ah this is Katsumi. Don't tell Felix I fed her."
"Sure, but why are you feeding her? You could've just untied her and pointed a gun at her so she can eat on her own." Chan suggested
"This is fine."
