"At least tell me what it's called..."
"Who said that I gave those records a name?" Jiangxi frowned. Jumping onto conclusions was never an astute thing to do, yet you really wanted to know.
"Y/N, I will not be telling you what it's called as long as I'm not done with the scripting. You know the deal."
What did you expect? Nothing. But at least it made him laugh.
Anyway, after getting all these things of your chest, Jiangxi hummed in approval his ever so perplexed look never leaving.
The fact that you were an outlander was no secret to him. Though you never gave any details about how you ended up in Teyvat, it was still a mystery he'd like to resolve when the time was right. But for now, he guessed that both of you could have your little secrets.
"It makes sense now, no wonder you were so distracted these days...I always knew you weren't from this world, it was pretty obvious from the very moment I saw you. But the fact that the Heavenly Principles still chose you-" Not this again. What a wonderful way to ruin your mood anew.
"Please don't say it like that..." You interrupted him with a whine, blocking out his voice by covering your ears in a 'la la la, I can't hear you' like manner. "My head hurts..." It sounded like you seriously weren't in the mood for serious matters anymore.
Making your esteemed companion sigh, a small smile formed at his lips. "Want me to buy you a drink?" He rolled his eyes in defeat.
"Depends what you mean by 'drink'?" There we go, he definitely got your attention with that. Your eyes were practically glimmering in mischief.
"They don't sell any alcoholic beverages here, Y/N... though that cat girl does make quite the delicious drinks but I've seen what she puts in them and...I wouldn't recommend you drinking that." His smile slowly disappeared, watching the bar tender pour a cryo slimes residues into the glasses.
"Plus, dont tell me you forgot about that brown haired outrider girl following us around. She got strict orders to keep a good eye on us. Specifically you." What he said simply went over your head because you couldn't care less. That girl was just a stalker anyway.
But the mention of drinks most certainly had you jump out of your chair. You rolled your eyes. "Then let's go to the Angel's Share?!" the words were flying out of your mouth, way too excited to Jiangxi's liking.
"Tsk, I'll make sure the only thing you're going to be drinking is apple juice." The god laughed at your pouting face.
Oh wow... It's not like you're a crazy drinker.
"Please?"
"No."
"Pretty Please?" You plead.
"Nuh uh."
"Jiangxi!!"
"I am absolutely not buying you any alcohol. The cigarettes are already bad enough so no liquor. Especially since that one time with the Tsaritsa, do you I really need to remind you the disaster you caused in Snezhnaya?" Maybe it would have been wiser to just give up. You knew he wouldn't budge and rightfully so.
