Valentine Forbes--The devil's child--at least that's what everyone calls her, maybe it's because of rebellious behavior or because when she turned into a vampire she killed a few people...but that doesn't matter--it's probably the second thing.

Although Valentine never really was an angel child--unlike her sister--she always found herself in some trouble but could you blame her? Her life was boring, go to school, come back home, listen to her sister talk about the latest fashion trends, do homework, and go to sleep. Breaking rules was a step out of her ordinary life--and she loved every second of it.

Caroline Forbes --control-obsessed freak--as some people called her. Caroline loved being in control, she always bossed people around and wanted everything to be perfect. She loved to dress up in some fancy dress on a casual day.

Caroline was the gossip queen of the town, she always knew everything first - luckily vampirism changed her. She was less stressed after she turned--however, her control obsession still lasted much to Valentine's displeasure.
