Serenity reigned over the two neighboring cities, standing in close proximity to each other. The practice of both Dark and Light magic was prevalent, yet the cities stood united, lending a helping hand whenever required. The amalgamation of schools led to the formation of a magical institution where students from both sides worked in harmony. However, the tranquility was short-lived as one day, things took a turn for the worse.

The events unfolded in a blur. In broad daylight, the first attack occurred, leaving everyone bewildered. The Dark Magic city lost one of its leaders, and chaos ensued. As people scrambled to make sense of the situation, the unthinkable happened again and again. The perpetrator was revealed to be someone from the Light Magics city, who seemed to vanish and reappear at will. The Dark City took measures to protect their remaining leaders, and eventually, the culprit was caught. The Dark City's anger towards the Light City was palpable as they confronted them about the heinous crimes committed by one of their own.

The Light City appeared just as stunned as the Dark City, vehemently denying any knowledge or involvement in the attacks. However, the Dark City remained skeptical, convinced that the meticulously planned nature of the assaults pointed to the Light City's complicity. Fueled by anger, they lashed out at their counterparts, accusing them of wanting nothing more than the downfall of the Dark City due to their perception of it as a malevolent threat. In a fit of fury, the Dark City stormed off, taking the perpetrator with them. This action only served to further enrage the Light City, who believed it was their responsibility to administer punishment to their own kind. On the other hand, the Dark City argued that since the events unfolded within their borders, they should be the ones to handle the situation. In a fit of rage, the Light City dispatched a group of individuals into the Dark City to apprehend the culprit. In response, the Dark City's leader sent a counterforce to halt the Light City's actions. This escalation of tensions only served to intensify their animosity, prompting both sides to mobilize their troops.

The conflict between the two sides had ignited a full-blown war, leading to devastating consequences. The battlefield was a gruesome sight, with countless lives lost in the midst of the chaos. Years passed, and the once vibrant cities became ghost towns, where venturing outside meant risking one's life. Both sides relentlessly launched violent attacks, until finally, the war came to a halt, leaving nothing but ruins in its wake. The survivors were forced to relocate to opposite ends of the region, rebuilding their shattered cities. However, a strict set of laws was established, forbidding any interaction between the opposing cities. Kindness towards the enemy was met with severe punishment, even death. It was a merciless divide, fueled by mutual hatred. Yet, amidst the darkness, the accounts of the war were twisted and conflicting, leaving no two stories alike.

The Light Cities' account of events centers around the Dark city's relentless hunger for power, which drove them to launch an aggressive assault on their neighboring city. According to the Light City, the Dark city approached them with aspirations of expanding their territory, but their wishes were denied. This rejection caused the Dark City to spiral into chaos, leading to brutal attacks on the Light city. The Light city mourns the loss of countless lives in a war they consider futile. They firmly assert that the Dark city epitomizes pure evil and should have been completely eradicated. Additionally, the Light City laments the loss of numerous invaluable artifacts during the conflict, and they harbor an enduring grudge against the Dark City for the inflicted damages. They vehemently wish ill upon anyone who associates with their adversaries.

The Dark City asserts that the assaults on their leaders were a premeditated scheme aimed at instigating a conflict to divide the two cities. Despite harboring resentment towards the Light City, they have shifted their focus from the damages they have inflicted and are now dedicated to training the current generation in the proper utilization of their abilities for self-defense. Additionally, they have bolstered their security measures to thwart any future attacks. While some individuals still live in fear of another strike from the Light City, others believe that the war between the two factions remains unresolved, and some consider the entire conflict to be futile, given the loss of innocent lives. Regardless of people's opinions, there exists only one undeniable reality: communication with the Light City is no longer possible, as the consequences would be dire, most likely resulting in death.

In the present era, the division between the two sides remains intact, with a deep-seated animosity and strict laws preventing any interaction between them. The leaders of the Dark and Light City have moved on from the past events and have found success in their respective domains. Their daughters have been groomed to follow in their parents' footsteps, learning about the tragic history of the conflict between light and dark magic. They have been strictly forbidden from communicating with each other, under the threat of severe consequences. The daughters are being trained to become exemplary leaders, ensuring that the punishments and laws established after the incident are upheld. However, the unanswered question from the previous generation still lingers: What truly transpired all those years ago? Not the distorted version that has been shared with everyone, but the complete and unadulterated truth.
