Ben's POV: On the first day of school I was in second period which was band, Mr. D was talking random shit like where to sit and how to do the warm up n more boring stuff.
I play baritone ever since 6th grade, I think there's 4 or 5 that play baritone in concert band, but here's the thing... WHY DO I ALWAYS GET CONCERT?!
I swear I did good on my solo! Maybe they were being unfair with me like always ugh.. I went to grab my baritone and then I saw someone who I never seen before, so I decided to talk to him. "Hi there! I'm Ben are you new to the district?" The boy said, "Yes I am, my name is Silas nice to meet you Ben."
Silas smiled at me then my face felt a little warm... Wait a minute do I have a CRUSH on SILAS?! What the fuck, I just met him and now I like him?! What is wrong with me-.
I went to grab my baritone, but guess what... Silas SAT next to ME, but I thought he plays tuba or french horn- but it surprised me that he plays baritone. I swear I was red when he sat besides me!
I need to tell Brett about this later-
After band I have history, so I walk alone, but then Silas was walking with me- Silas said, "Where are you going lone wolf?" Silas chuckled a little and so did I, "I'm going to history, what about you?" Silas said, "Oh really? Well I'm going to reading- I hope it isn't to hard-" Silas said in a nervous tone.."Well who's your reading teacher" I said in a curious tone "Well I have Mrs. M, do you know her?" Silas said hoping I knew her
"Oh my god I hate her much, even though I just met her today! Ugh!" I said in a annoyed voice but then I calmed myself down and said, "But yes I know her, I have her for first period"
Silas laughed "Wow you must really hate her, don't you?" I blushed a little, but then the bell rang and I said to Silas, "Ah! Sorry Silas! Gotta go! See you later!" I ran to class then Silas said, "Ok then Ben! See you later!" Silas and I went to our 4th period class... I wish I had Silas in my every class.. But Im scared because like what if he's straight? Or if I tell him my feelings he'll be disgusted or worse! He will stop being my friend!? Ugh! Love is hard to understand... I'm going to tell Brett about this 'crush' later..
