„Oh no Harlow.
There's a difference between not understanding something and politely asking, and just don't fucking listening."

She steppend closer him.
He was clearly taller than her.

„And by the way.
If you don't wanna listen alright.
Your loss.
But if I hear one of those comments about the female recruits or soldiers that you made again, you're out immediately."

Her voice was loud enough for everyone to hear but still low and threatening.
The faces of the other two got white and they straightened their posture immediately.
But this Harlow just grinned.

„You can't just kick me out.
You're just a trainer.
And you can't possibly have heard anything so for that I haven't said anything"

She looked at one of the others.

„Alright. Preston.
What did he say? Did you hear anything?"

„No ma'am"

„Wrong answer"

Preston looked clearly intimidated.

„He's not gonna snitch.
You just held a big speech about not snitching"

Harlow grinned.

She stepped back and looked down the row.
Simon shifted on his seat.
It looked like she hadn't anything in control.
He felt Königs hand on his shoulder.

„Relax. She got this. Just watch. This will be funny"

Funny?
How should this be funny?

„Alright listen everyone.
He's not wrong.
Snitching on your team mates is something of the worst things you could do.
No one likes snitches.
But there are boundaries.
We do not tolerate sexist behaviour here.
You guys are a team.
And a team needs to trust each other.
Your team is your family!
You expect someone to save you out of a bad situation when you just assaulted them?
Really?
I don't think so!
There may be indeferences in the team, different opinions or whatsoever.
But you stick together.
But assault and sexist behaviour will never be tolerated.
Everyone here is treated with respect!
And when you don't do this you're out.
If you cover someone who does.
You're out!
No exceptions.
If someone behaves badly towards you, makes you uncomfortable in any way you will talk to me.
And We sort this out.
And this offer doesn't depend on gender!
So Preston!"

She pierced the tall blonde recruit once again.

„Did Harlow say something highly inappropriate?"

„Yes ma'am"

Simon sighed.
This kid finally found his balls.
Harlow huffed.

„Thank you. You know I actually didn't needed this. Because I clearly heard what you said.
Because unlike you I can talk and listen at the same time."

„That's bullshit"

„That's enough! Harlow! Out! You're out!"

„What? That's bullshit! You can't decide that."

„Oh and how I can"

she waved him off.

„The fuck do you think you are?
Some random weak ass soldier that trains recruits.
You can't decide anything."

She stopped her tracks.
Simon prayed hard that she wouldn't lose her shit.
Soap and Roach hissed.

„Oh he's in trouble now"

She walked back to Harlow in a slow pace.

„So you think you're better than me?
Hm interesting.
Let's make a deal Harlow.
If you beat me you can stay.
If I beat you I'm gonna send you straight back to first year basic camp"

Her voice was sweet like honey and at the same time dripping with hate.
Harlow huffed and grinned.

„Deal!"

They got on the mat.
Liz didn't even prepared herself.
She stood there, still with her hands behind her back.
Everyone gathered around the mat.

„Watch this Ghost"

Soap said grinning and steppt closer.

„oi shithead. What do you want written on your gravestone?"

Everyone looked at soap.

„You think you can take her?
The women that beat the asses of these two on her first day here?"

he yelled and pointed at König and Ghost.
Everyone's faces shifted into shock.
Harlows face went white as he looked over to them.

He had already lost.

„First mistake. Never let your enemie out of sight"

she said casually and gave him a straight punch in his uncovered face.

Followed by pure silence until everyone started loud cheering.

She didn't went easy on him.
He was good, Simon had to admit that.
But he didn't hit her once.
He didn't even came near her.
After he layed in front of her with a black eye and bloody nose she backed up.
She wasn't even out of breath.

„So basic camp it is. Maybe they teach you some manners. And not to talk about women like objects"

She said clearly disgusted.

„Back in line!"

she didn't yell but the recruits followed quicker than ever.

„So let this be a lesson to you all.
I don't tolerate such behaviour.
We train like a team, we act like a team and we are a team!
Without your team you're nothing!
So treat them with respect!
And keep in mind.
I'm your supervisor officer Liz Belma.
Callsign Siren.
We can be a good team and you will have a good time learning here.
Or you give me trouble and I will have to have consequences follow.
You understand me?"

She looked up and down the row.
Her voice was sharp and confident.

„YES MA'AM"

Everyone yelled on sync.
She loosened her posture a bit and clapped.

„Alright team. Then off to lunch"

She yelled in a soft and happy tone.
A complete contrast to before.
The recruits visibly sighed and shoved off.

Liz skipped happy over to the guys sitting on the bench.
Before she reached them two of the female recruits approached her.

„Ehm Miss Belma?"

„Yes?"

They clearly looked a little nervous.

„We are big fans of your achievements.
And we wanted to thank you.
We heard the comments from Harlow.
You inspired us and the other girls to join"

Liz face lit up instantly.

„Thank you.
Carter and Hill right?
I know one of the comments was about you Hill.
And please know that this behaviour is not tolerated here.
So you can always come to me if you see of hear something like this.
We're a team now."

The two nodded and left with smiling faces.

Liz turned around.

„That was impressive"

Simon admitted.

„I thought for a moment it would get out of hand but I haven't seen anyone have the recruits so in their place like you"

„Thank you Simon. I personally think just pushing them to their limits and just standing above them gets them nowhere.
Being a team let's people grow.
I mean look at us.
We're all better persons since we're an actual team right?"

„She's right. You're all better"

prices voice came from the door.
He grinned and hugged her.
And Simon had to admit that she was right.
All of them were better persons since she joined them.
