"That's exactly what happened" he nodded as his sister closed the fridge before leaning her crossed arms against the marble kitchen counter
"Okay we both know that's bull since one. you've been eyeing up those brownies all day and two. They can't magically grow legs and disappear" lando simply shrugged
"God, see if I find out you did, I will take off my shoe and beat you with it" autumns empty threat was brushed off with a dismissive hand wave
"Oh little sister, you say that every time but you haven't managed to do it" her left eye twitched slightly before narrowing
autumn knew she wouldn't ever actually hit her brother but he didn't need to know that, as far as she cared he could sleep with one eye open just waiting for her moment to strike.
"Mhm, that can still be changed" she crossed her arms annoyed "I didn't stand and bake a batch of brownies just for your fatas-"
Autumn didn't get to finish her insult due to a knock on the door, grumbling to herself as lando chuckled in the background she opened the apartment door to reveal Daniel. Just her luck
starring up at him, autumns eyes narrowed even further. Not only did she make brownies and not get to have any, now her brothers annoying ex teammate was now at the door. This day couldn't get any better.
"what do you want Daniel" she crosses her arms annoyed which wasn't unusual when she was around the Australian driver
"Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine today, peach" he narrowed his own eyes back at her. God she hated that nickname
With a sigh, autumn leaves the door open for him and walks back into the living room where lando was slumped across lazily
"I guess I'll just let myself in" Daniel grumbled to himself as he watched the small auburn girl walk into the living room while he shut the door
Looking up from his phone momentarily a sly look over took landos smile "come to yell at me some more?" he only received an eyeroll in response
Hearing this Daniels eyebrow raised curiously at his best mates comment "peach yelling at you instead of me for once? What did you do" he chuckled
"He ate the batch off brownies that I baked and then said they magically disappeared into thin air" she rolled her eyes before shooting a glare to the two who burst out laughing
"It's not funny" she crossed her arms "you've gotta admit, it is pretty funny peach" if looks could kill, Daniel would of been 6 feet under a long time ago
Grumbling to herself, autumn decided to pull out a packet of goldfish crackers from the cupboard as Daniel flopped down on the sofa beside her brother
Putting his feet across Daniels lap and laughing when he earned a slap on the leg he looked over to autumn
"Are you sticking around while we go on the sims?" Swallowing her mouth full of crackers, autumn shook her head grabbing both of the drivers attention
"Lita invited me over, I think Tori gave her some new underground bar/restaurant recommendation thats been a hype recently" she shrugged lazily
"The ivy? Yeah I heard it's good" Daniel nod which only got him a bored look in return
"We'll see" she popped another goldfish cracker in her mouth before ceiling the packet and putting it away as lando stretched while getting up
sending his sister a mischievous smile, lando trailed down the hall to his gaming room while Daniel watched before walking over to the kitchen and leaned against the counter
"So this ivy bar, just you and lita going?" He questioned casually
"Well yeah, ever heard of girls night?" She crossed her arms while he couldn't help but chuckle
"And where is it?" Daniel looked down at her with a bemused look
"What is this an interrogation?" Autumn scoffed "its just to the right of the Starbucks on 4th street, down where the old subway tunnel use to be. Why?"
a smirk made a home on Daniels face "no reason in particular peach, no reason at all"
Finding his behaviour odd, autumn gave him a dirty look as she walked over to the door and grabbed her trainers
"Oh and peach?" He called out as he trailed behind her causing the auburn girl to look up at him
"Don't get to drunk with lita" he leans down slightly as he starred into her emerald eyes "we don't want a repeat of last year in Monaco" how she really wanted to kill him right now
"Oh screw yo-" autumns words got caught off for a second time that day
"Daniel you coming?" at the sound of lando the two broke eye contact
Giving autumn one last smirk daniel reluctantly pulled himself away and down the hall to her brother, leaving the girl fuming as she finished putting on her scuffed trainers and leaving the apartment to meet lita.
