"Gotta go I need to visit my uncle cya at school tomorrow?"

"Cya" hobie replies.

"That was not a date. That was NOT a date just two friends hanging out. Not a date. Not a date. NOT a date. Just friends."

"What was not a date?"

"Ahh. Uncle Aaron. When'd you get here?!"

He chuckled, "You mean how'd you get lost in thought then end up at my place."

I replied nervously, "yeah."

"So you gonna tell me what that was about."

I started punching the punching bag.

"Miles?"

"It's nothing."

He raised an eyebrow.

I sat on the couch, "So there's this new guy at school and I may or may not like him."

"What's his name?"

"Hobie." I muttered. "He's also British."

He laughed, "You know the shoulder touch."

"Eh. Umm Course I do. Just explain it anyway."

"Tomorrow you gon walk up to that boy, put you hand on his shoulder, like this, and say 'hey'."

"He's older than me."

"Still do it."

"By two years."

"Still do it."

"So I just walk up to him and go." I imitated a deep voice. "Hey."

"No like hey."

I deliberately pulled a weird face, "Hey."

"You sure you're my nephew man."

We laughed.

My phone buzzed. It was a message from my dad.

"That him?"

"Nah. It's nothing important."

I opened my sketchbook just as uncle Aaron snatched it from me. "Wow miles. You been holding out on me. You had a chance to put these up yet."

"You know my dad."

"Come on."

"It's fine. Really."

And I found myself in a dark alley spray painting myself.

"Hey uncle how'd you find out about this place?" I asked.

"Worked an engineering job down here."

"Cool."

I stepped down from the stool and sat by my uncle. He put his hand round my shoulders, "I'm proud of you, Miles."

I smiled.

"Well gotta go. Bye miles."

As he walked off, I notice a spider coming towards me. Then it bit me. "Ow!" Did that even hurt or was that just instinct. I smacked it away then walked off. I wasn't really bothered but why does a spider have a 42 on it?
