PIP: (felt anger boil in his chest) You can't scare me, Hunter! Nothing scares me!

HUNTER: (rolls eyes) Penguins are scared of everything. Observe. You are not in Iceberg Alley anymore. Which leads you to believe you have nothing to worry about. Well, what about the desert? Or the swamps? What if... a large, nasty, creature came out to eat you?

PIP: (rolled his eyes) That was weak, Hunter. (turned around and notices that hunter wasn't there) Hunter?

((Hunter is flying above Pip.))

HUNTER: (flying above the penguin) BOO!

((Pip screamed and whirled around, looking at Hunter.))

HUNTER: (smirked) You know, hawks eat smaller birds. And, it seems that claim of being fearless was a lie. You're scared. (flyed slyly around the room) You just don't know it yet. (left pip to wonder what he meant)

((Pip wandered down the hall, hoping to find KC or Krysia. Pip then found KC standing outside Captain Beakman's office, talking to a concerned looking flamingo.

NARRATOR: Pip didn't see Krysia anywhere. She was probably doing something outside of T.O.T.S.

NARRATOR: Hunter's words rang in Pip's head. Penguins existed nowhere, except Iceberg Alley. They did nothing for the good of other creatures. Were penguins really worthless as a species?

NARRATOR: But Pip knew he was different. He wanted to make a difference, show penguins weren't worthless. And what better way to do it than by working at T.O.T.S?

((Pip moved toward his friends, hoping to talk with them. He was halfway toward them when he felt something slither up his spine. It was sharp. His nose twitched, picking up a scent. Something inside him told him to run.))

NARRATOR: 'Hawks eat smaller birds.' Just as that went through his head, Pip felt talons grab him.

((He turned to be met face-to-face with Hunter, whose beak was wide open. Pip screamed and jumped away.))

HUNTER: (pretended to look hurt) I promise, Pip. I won't eat you.

PIP: (felt something dribble down his leg and his face flushed) But-!

HUNTER: (cut him off) Not all hawks eat small birds, you know. I could do without.

((Pip stood frozen to the spot. KC and Freddy looked at him, confusion etched in their features. Captain Beakman walked up, having heard the scream with Krysia walking with her.))

KRYSIA: (walked over to the penguin and hawk with captain beakman) What's going on?

((Pip tried to speak, but Hunter spoke first.))

HUNTER: I've been trying and trying, but Pip doesn't trust me. He still thinks I'm going to eat him.

((Pip's eyes widened. That wasn't true!))

CAPTAIN BEAKMAN: Pip? (turned to face the penguin who looked puzzled at what the hawk just said) Is this true?

((At Captain Beakman's question, Pip shook his head frantically.))

CAPTAIN BEAKMAN: (glanced at the puddle on the floor) Clean yourself up. Meet me in my office afterward.

((Captain Beakman walked away, leaving Krysia there with Freddy and KC, looking totally concerned and confused about what had happened. Pip scampered off, hoping for a little privacy, and less embarrassment. When he made it to the office, he heard Hunter already inside.))

HUNTER: I recall Freddy telling KC and Krysia that Pip is too heavy for him. Penguins have to build up body fat to keep warm, but I worry: is it too much for Freddy?

CAPTAIN BEAKMAN: Hm...I'll ask him.

HUNTER: Ah, but I foresaw that! I have asked him for you!

CAPTAIN BEAKMAN: Really? That's so thoughtful of you.

HUNTER: Freddy told me sometimes he came home with a sore back, but he didn't want to tell Pip about it. He'd hurt the fragile penguin's feelings.

CAPTAIN BEAKMAN: I never thought of the side effects of having a penguin at T.O.T.S! I hope Pip's doing okay.

HUNTER: After the display? Of course he's not okay. He's here because he wants to prove the laws wrong: that a penguin can exist elsewhere. But, he has forgotten so much, such as the safety of himself and others.

((Pip knocked on the door, unable to stand this any longer. Once it was opened, he burst in and started gabbling.))

PIP: (bursts inside and says) Captain Beakman, he's lying!

CAPTAIN BEAKMAN: (turned to hunter) You may go.

((Hunter left the office, shooting Pip a smirk. Pip stand stands in front of Captain Beakman's desk.))

PIP: (stands in front of captain beakman's desk) He's bullying me, I swear-!

CAPTAIN BEAKMAN: (held up a wing to shush him) Hunter already told me everything, Pip. I know, a hawk must seem scary to a penguin, but I can assure you, Hunter meant no harm. He told me he was merely trying to get your attention. (leaned forward on the desk, looking serious) Pip, I appreciate your determination here. But, and I don't mean to be specist, if these problems continue, we may have to make adjustments.

PIP: (shuddered) What problems?

CAPTAIN BEAKMAN: You're penguin fat is too heavy for Freddy. And your instincts are going to prove a challenge on deliveries. (smiled at pip) But, I know you're doing your best, so keep at it, and maybe, we can rethink those adjustments, okay?

((Pip nodded and left her office, feeling more sick than before.))

HUNTER: (met him outside the office) I told you. You don't belong here. And you can say whatever you want: it won't work. I will make sure you end up back where you belong.
